Description
Address:
11251 Harbour Villa Road
Orlando, Florida, United States, North America 32821

Marriott's Cypress Harbour greets you with old Floridian charm. Cypress Harbour offers two-bedroom, two-bath timeshare villas with full kitchen, private balcony, washer/dryer, and separate living and dining areas. The master suite features a king-size bed with an oversized tub for soaking weary muscles after a full day at the parks or on the golf course.

Marriott's Cypress Harbour is a golfers paradise, sitting right on Marriott's Grande Pines Golf Club. Designed by renowned golf course architect Steve Smyers, Grande Pines makes shot selection as important a consideration as any other aspect of your game. If you need a little help on the course, each cart is equipped with a ProLink yardage system, providing accurate yardage to the hole and the ability to order lunch prior to the turn.

If your plan is to hit the theme parks, Marriott's Cypress Harbour resort is minutes away from Disney's Epcot, MGM Studios, and Magic Kingdom theme parks, in addition to Universal Studios and Sea World. But don't miss out on the fun right on-site at Cypress Harbour. Swim until your fingers prune in any one of the three pools, grab a pole and go fishing in the 15-acre lake, enjoy the fully staffed recreation center and health club, or watch the kids romp at the indoor children's play area.

Nice place. I'll stay there again when they have adequate Internet bandwidth.

Cypress Harbour is a beautiful resort in a great location with tons of amenities. But the so-called high speed Internet service isn't. It's more like dial-up speed when it actually works. It appears they're trying to save money by utilizing one line for the entire resort. It's very irritating.

It you plan to stay there, you'd be well served to take your own air card.

I exchanged into this resort and was pleasntly surprised. I had stayed at this resort 12 years before, when it was still under construction. I was happy to see that the unit we were given had been recently renovated.

Being in Orlando during Easter week meant spending time on long lines. The two teenagers in our party had a great time enjoying the resort. They took part in many of the MAZE activities, they also enjoyed the pools and the basketball courts.

I look forward to visiting this resort again.

Just left the resort after a busy easter Break at the theme parks.. We traded our Marriott Desert Villas for easter week. We were expecting a crowded resort given the time of the year, may have only been 60% occupied whoch was great but the theme parks where jammed packed. If you are vacation with your children plan on a 10 to 14 day vacation as you will need to rest after each day at the theme parks, one week will not be enough as there is so much to do and so much to see.

Great Marriott resort, Location is perfect minutes from all theme parks, restaurants and international drive. The Staff where very freindly and helpfull. We own many Marriott Timeshares and this is up to the Marriott level of 5. We where told you have a golf course view, however so many trees no view of course. From Building 74 great view of the fireworks from seaworld which is only a mile away.

This is a great place for famlies or coulpes, however as we have 3 little ones that love pools with slides this resorts pools are nice but no slides for the kids... We actually drove and walked across the street to The New Horizons by Marriott which has all the pools for kids and slides.

We did get numerous calls from the sales Staff kept calling for a 90 minute presentation which we had no interst in, and had no time for as we where here on a vacation.

When attending the theme parks, we purchased all our tickets from the Hotel concierge same price as resorts beats waiting in line. Highly recommend as they can charge to you room and then on your Marriott visa card which will give you points for every dollar spent.

would stay here again, however we like trying out different Marriott resorts more than likely if we can trade will try and stay at the Horizons or Grande Vista one accross the street other 2 miles away.

Lastly we faxed our grocery list in advance everything was delivered and in its place prior to our arrival.

Enjoyed our stay hope you do as well.

We go to orlando every year. We love the updated decor at the Cypress Harbour. We've been to Marriott Grand Vista, by far it is the most elaborate of the Marriotts in Orlando but they had some outside bug issues. The pool at the Grand Vista is the nicest but Cypress Harbour pools are all very clean and quaint but hard to find a spot. Pizza hut and ice cream always a hit with the kids. The units are beautiful! You cant go wrong with Marriotts!! We recommend Marriott Cypress harbour, Horizons, and Grand Vista all top notch resorts. We go to orlando every year for 6 yrs now.

Just an outstanding family resort and a great location for all the fun things to do in Orlando. Marriott manages this property and as usual, we found it to be a well run and up to date facility. They offer daily activies for the entire family, that is if you are not off visiting one of the many Disney resorts, Sea World, or Universal Studios, all close by.

The rooms are all up to date and fully functional with inside laundry and full kitchen and dinning area. There are three TV and a DVD player and CD player for music. The outside screen room is great for sipping your late night beverage and watching the fireflies!

Very well cared for resort. One building is usually being refurbished every year; so everything is up to date. Enough pools and activities right on the property to take a break from the parks. Close to Sea World and International Drive.

I am giving this resort 3 stars because of the cleanliness of our room. We rented a 2 bedroom for the week of Dec.16-23,2006. When entering the room we were pleased, but after taking off our shoes and walking from one room to the next, we noticed that the bottoms of our socks were black! The tile floor was sticky to walk on as well. I called the front desk and spoke with Mike. He told me that our building was going to be closed for renovations after we left and everything would be thrown away! I told him my disappointment in Marriott (not that he really cared). He offered to have the carpet shampooed. I took him up on the offer, but all they did was come and vacuum the carpet and didn't bother to mop the tile floors.

The resort is in a great location and about 10 minutes to get to the WDW parks. The resort has alot of activities, though we never did any because we spent our time at WDW.

I'm sure if you got a newly renovated room it would be great. If it hadn't been for our dirty floors I would given it 5 stars. Just be sure to ask for a newly renovated room!

We have stayed at this resort for 3 years in a row and we absolutely love it! It is close to everything yet you feel so secluded. I love being on a lake, although it's not that big - you can take out paddleboats - and the activities staff even have paddleboat races! This is a great resort for families - lots of stuff to do besides hang out at the pool.

The rooms are very, very nice but again just make sure you ask for an updated room - the staff at this resort are so nice and will try to acommodate you in any way possible.

Our kids, ages 8 and 5 would rather just stay at the resort and play in the sand! And this past vacation we did just that! We went to the parks 2 separate days and that was all. This is a great place to stay - we'll be going back year after year!!

We've been a guest at this resort in 1995, 2000, and 2005. The timeshare owner (my father-in- law) owns a sport week at Cypress Harbor. Each time we visited the unit that we stayed in was nicely furnished and clean. It does sleep up to 8 people, although 2 are non-private so I would recommend no more than 6 persons in the unit.

The Resort is located centrally to Sea World and Universal Studios. Disney World is a little further by highway, but not a ridiculous commute. You can see the Seaworld fireworks from this Resort.

We visited all three times during week 23, which is a time when Orlando is starting to get busy and hot/humid. The Resort has a nice pool area to relax when you return from all the crowds. It's also tucked away nicely from all the blinking lights and hussle and bustle so you do feel relaxed here.

LOVE this place! Only con are the spiders that refuse to go away, even though Marriott sprays weekly week and has someone clear away the webs nearly every day!

Service is FIRST CLASS, resort is BEAUTIFUL, rooms are GORGEOUS, deli is wonderful, store is very reasonable, Pizza Hut, kids activities, poolside lounge with FABULOUS reggae music. It's the bomb (as our kids say!).

Have been staying here for nearly 5 years and have had the most wonderful, most relaxing time, every time!

Marriott's Cypress Harbor is first class!

5 Star all the way !!! This is our first time staying at the resort & we were impressed. Everything was great. Clean, beautiful resort. Huge rooms - especially the master bedroom/suite. Kids really loved the huge jacuzzi tub. The Horizon by Marriott is across the street. That location had better pools for the kids (more to do at pools) - but the rooms at Cypress were nicer - because of the master bedroom being so large. Highly recommend Cypress Harbour.

We visited the week of September 4th - 11th. There was a lot of remodeling going on - but that was OK. Check in and check out were easy.

What I was really disappointed in was the cleanliness of the units. We had 2 units, which at first glance looked great. However, when I went to use the jacuzzi, all kind of black particles were floating around in the water. The towel rack fell off the wall when we took the towel off, and the coffee maker was broken.

In the second room, the sheets were dirty. They had hair and stains (I don't want to surmise what they were) on them. While sitting in the chair beside the bed, we noticed all kinds of dirt (papers and crumbs) under the bed.

These things were attended to quickly but it made me leary of how clean other items in the unit were. I was disappointed to find these kinds of things at a Marriott resort!

I don't think we will return here...

Was just there for the Fourth of July celebration and we had a great time. This resort has it all!! Location, convenience, amenities, service, and beauty. For a family with four children that range in ages 3-22 there was something for everyone. I highly recommend it and we plan to go back.

There really is nothing better. With 4 boys, ages 8,6,5 and 2, our family definitely needs something with a "Kiddie Pool" that is cool enough for the older kids to enjoy too. The property itself if very clean and well maintained. We plan on having many memories made here at Cypress Harbour.

Excellent resort was just there for a week and wow it really is beautiful and very centrally located It only took 15 minutes to get to all the Disney resorts and Sea world was approximately a mile a way. There is a very good Purex market nearby and many nice family restaurants were less than 5 miles away. The resort has really great activities for all members of the family and the people are really nice. I would highly recommend this place. This is the second Marriott resort I visit and again I have no complaints.

This is an exceptional and mature property. The mature landscaping makes you feel like you have escaped the rate race. You would never know you are in the thick of the Orlando action, for this resort is quiet and serene. The villas are large and tastefully decorated. The pools are wonderful. There is so much to do at the resort! The screened baconies provide a private, restful spot. Golf is great! We have stayed here 3 times out of the last three years. The kids as well as adults love it!

Just a note to let the golfers know that Grande Pines opened in Jan/04, and it is beautiful. Very challenging, and in excellent condition. Fees are $130 peak, $80 post 2pm and you get 10% for being with Marriott. It's worth it, and so close to the resort.

As for Cypress Harbour - if you have kids this place has it all.

We stayed at this resort in May of 02 and we love it. The lush landscape gave it a feel of a tropical hideaway. The villa was very clean and well appointed. All we requested during our stay were clean linen which was brought promptly. Screened balcony was especially nice during the evening so we didn't have to deal with bug. We traveled with 2 teenagers and felt really safe with them going around the property on their own.

I guess my favorite amenitie at Cypress Harbour is they have a shuttle bus for the property. Our unit was near the entrance and pool so the clubhouse and marina was a not in walking distance. But you could call the shuttle, tell them your villa number and they would pick you up and drive you where ever you needed to go around the property and bring you back. That is an extra you really come to appreciate when you stay at a resort with a lot of activities.

Lot of activities for teens, families, and kids. My brother in law and nephew won the fishing contest and were given free rentals on fishing and boating throughout their stay.

A year later after staying at Star Island, we promptly purchased a week here.

This is an addition to a prior posting. We just returned from Thanksgiving Week at Cypress Harbour and stayed in one of the "updated" units. Everything is truly first class including granite countertops and all new appliances. Best of all is full time "free" high speed internet connections in the room. Marriott is listening to their owners and this resort just gets better every year!

We have owned and stayed at Cypress Harbour almost every year since 1994. It is one of our most favored resorts. There is everything to do here - golf, fishing, sight seeing, amusement parks, water parks and of course the home of the mouse - Disney World. Cypress Harbour has an active update and remodeling program so all units are routinely updated and remodeled every few years. This is a really great resort with really great accomodations, activities and staff. I recommend it most highly.

Very nice resort. Our unit was stating to show its age with wallpaper coming off the wall, chips in the furniture, and the air conditioner not working properly. The units were very large. Second bedroom was on the small side for a Marriott Resort. Nice pools and several hot tubs. Live music was played at the poolside on most days. Plenty of activities for everyone. I would recommend visiting this resort.

Our family decided to have a family reunion in Florida. We checked other places, hotels, motels, looking for the best prices, but not wanting to compromise our comfort needs. Somehow, my sister came across Mariott Cypress Harbour, and at that point, we didn't care what we got anymore, as long as we were in Florida. The process was just taking way too long. Well, when we got to our rooms..WOW, was all I could say..who dreamed you could have such pleasant accomodations without breaking the bank. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty. This was not to be attributed to the delirium that comes with vacation, where you think everything is just wonderful, because we have been to different places and have returned home sometimes, feeling just plain...cheated. We had 3 of your 2 bedroom villas, and everyone was in agreement that this was the very best place they have ever stayed. That stay was in 1996, since then, we have referred many of our friends and co-workers to Mariott Cypress Harbour, and we were thanked for the suggestion, I honestly can't tell you how many times.. I am currently trying to talk my family into another family gathering, but I am in the process of putting together a package for my own little family. Thank you for everything Mariott!!!! Sincerely, Josephine Walsh Sincerely, Josephine Walsh
