We stayed at the Club Intrawest at the end of March 2007 in a one bedroom unit. The weather was great and in the high 70s low 80s. The resort is nicely decorated, with ample space, and the master bedroom was large enough to a have separate bathtub in the bedroom (different but nice). We loved the shower, and off of the shower was a door that led outside to an outside shower that was enclosed.
Our unit was upstairs and had an outdoor patio that was huge with a fireplace and sitting area. There was also another separate balcony off of the living room area that overlooked the golf course and a small lake. There is a laundry room in each building with no cost for use of the washers/dryers, and laundry soap provided (fantastic!).
The staff was very helpful and pleasant. There is a movie theatre with sitting for about 50 people and we could request a movie for showing in the evenings. You could also get movies for your unit at no additonal cost (greeat!!)
The resort is situated between two golf courses and there is very nice area for walks on the street adjacent to the resort. We ate at the City Wok restaurant nearby in the Ralph's shopping plaza several times, and the food was very good and reasonable.
This was a very nice resort and we would definitely go there again. The only complaint that we had about our particular unit was that the flooring throughout the unit was ceramic and in areas it was extremely beat up with deep scratches in the tile, and markings from stains, even though the tile was dark in color. Other than that, a beautiful resort to visit, and we would definitely go there again.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit during April. Being from the East Coast, the weather was awesome. Each set of buildings have their own pool. The units are large and uniquely styled. The grounds are simply beautiful. My sons played basketball under the lights. The resort offers plenty to do and the golf is great! The Palm Springs area is lovely with lots of great restaurants.

Club Intrawest- Palm Desert is in the middle of the Desert Willows golf course. There are approx 12 two-story building with three units on each floor. The lower units open to patio next to the lawn and pool areas. The upper floor units have a large balcony with beautiful vistas of the golf course and the mountains beyond. All the units are roomy and beautifully decorated. Each building has it own BBQ and a free laundry room. The separate main building has a huge pool, spa, tennis courts and BB hoops. There is also a theater were they show DVDs at night and a free video game room for the kids.
Resort has a nice grocery store complex within walking distance and is across from the Marriott Desert Springs resort.
We stayed twice in December with daytime temps in the 70s. It was cold at night but the patios have gas fireplaces. Also did a day visit in late June and it is very hot >110. So golf in the morning before it gets unbearable.
Club Intrawest is points only membership and there are no home resorts, the club decides the type and dates the units are available, so it may be difficult to trade in during peak winter and spring dates.
