The resort is well located, right next to the Marriot on Park City. We stayed there for 2 weeks. Our room was quite old, even with our ouwn radiator heater. There is free internet access in the rooms in close proximity to the Lobby. There is no restaurant or cafeteria in the premises but, a timeshare resales office.

Location, location, location.... plus some recent upgrades and updating give this older resort 4 easy stars. Just steps from the main Park City lifts, you would be hard pressed to find something closer for the money. Woudl have been 5 stars if it were brand new... but that's it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Just an awesome location for easy access to one of our country's finest ski resorts.

My son and I stayed at this resort last year and we both loved it. The location is just great, just a short walk to being on the slopes at Park City, or on the free bus to go anywhere around town.

The building itself is very attractive, apparently having just had some upgrades - the elevator looked new, the exercise room had all new equipment, the furniture was new, along with new appliances.

The staff was very cordial and professional. A nice touch is the complimentary coffee, tea, or hot chocolate in the common room, where they also had wifi access. Parking in the garage was available for a fee, although we passed as it was never a problem to park right outside the front door.

Our unit, although just a one bedroom, was very large, and even though we didn't need it, easily could have slept 6, with a fold-down bed in the wall in the living room, and two queen beds in the bedroom. The units also have nice big dressers, and ample closet space. The linens (towels, sheets, etc) are exchanged once during the week, and the coin laundry on site made it easy for us to wash clothes as needed.

We really enjoyed the great hot-tub, nice and big, very hot. Also, a very large pool, outdoors but covered and never too cold - we were there the 3rd week of March, and the weather was just great.

Overall, a place I'd recommend highly - I've paid twice as much some other places not nearly as enjoyable.

A great location. Older property that has been renovated. Lovely common areas, including heated pool, jacuzzi. Grills are available for cooking and a ski shop with rentals is very convenient. Being able to walk out the door, across the street and be in the Park City resort complex with the shops, resturants, at the base is so easy. Some parking is indoor, but with the bus service a block away, getting around to all the resorts and town is a breeze.

Obviously, the skiing in Utah is great. Easily the best powder I've ever played in. All of the ski mountains are huge and have fantastic terrain.

The best thing I can say about Sweetwater is that it is a short walk from the Park City Mountain lifts and shuttles.

Otherwise, this is not a very well maintained property. Everything is very dated. The floors in the kitchen are drafty and poorly insulated. There is a common hottub/sauna/pool area that is pretty run down. The sauna was broken all week and had been for quite some time. There is a "game room" that consists of two $1.50 bar pool tables. Laundry facilities are poor and also require $1.50 in quarters. Towels are hard to come by - you can only exchange one a week - so make sure you bring your own unless you want to wash at your own expense.

Parking is also tough because you park on the side of a steep road that isn't cleared off very well even though everyone has to move their cars by 10 am. The good news is that there are shuttles right at the bottom of the hill. If you can find a ride to the resort [usually $20 each way per person], I wouldn't bother renting a car.

We definately had a good time, but this resort doesn't compare to the others in town.

Ideal Location to all activities in the area. Skiing is fantastic, Best powder in the world. Shuttles make it easy to get around the city. We have seen numerous stars at the Sundance Film Festival. Activities for the whole family at the resort. What a great vacation for the family. Can't wait to go back!
