This little hide away sits behind the Surfrider Resort and Tennis Club, which is right on Route A1A, and hence, it does not have the traffic noise of A1A, the main drag through the ocean towns.

Our unit has a terrace that over looks a canal that stretches out to the coastal way leading to the ocean. It's clean, comfortable with amenities, and offers a view of not only the canal, but also the pool.

There is a "right-of-way" path leading to the ocean across the street.

I will like to thank, the management and employes, of the S.R. & T. Club, for the service and being so friendly and helpful. I highle recomend the facilities as well as the pool and beaches, plus the great location with easily acces to fishing, boating, and all the sea advantages.

Thank you. Flip and Vicky.

This is a Quiet nice resort across the street from the beach away from all the honky tonks of Lauderdale, in fact it is really in Lauderdale by the sea! Spacious units, already renovated, relaxing away from it all!

This is a beautiful little family-oriented resort with a fabulous pool and gorgeous views of sunsets over a canal (not "blackwater" -- the writer below is wrong). The beach is just across the street; there is alao and elaborate barbecue grill and a jacuzzi on-site.

This resort is on same property as the SurfRider Resort, and shares all the same amenities. As an owner, I find it to be a very relaxing, quiet location for a family vacation. The units are very clean and nicely furnished (I've stayed in 3 different units); the pool area is wonderful; the staff is very accommodating; and the beach is just a short walk across the street. You do need a car to get to shops, restaurants, area attractions, but not far to get to any of these. Great home base for all Ft. Lauderdale area attractions and entertainment, a short drive to Las Olas Blvd., SAWGRASS MILLS mall, sightseeing cruises, dog racing track. This resort gets a thumbs up from me!

My son and his college buddies stayed there during springbreak. The staff was friendly but the place needs a great deal of work. My son and his friends went to South Beach because there was nothing but "old folks" on the beach near Surfsider.

The rooms look exactly as shown. Awful view of the tennis courts. Make sure you get a rental car.

VERY DIASPPOINTING ** NO VIEWS ** MOST RMS OVERLOOK A PARKING LOT OR A CREEK WITH BLACK WATER ** LACK OF CLEANLINESS ** LIMITED PARKING ** ABSOLUTELY NO AMENITIES ** NOT WORTH AN EXCHANGE AND CERTAINLY NOT WORTH PAYING FOR **
