We just came back from checking out the facilities before trading our timeshare. The tennis courts are impressive so if your'e into tennis, this is the place to be! It's really tucked in nowhere land, but that's what we're looking for to get away from everything. Room decor is as you'ld expect matching the woodsey ambiance. Very clean, casual, quiet and low key place. Can't wait to relax in the fall and smell the fresh air.

Our stay at this resort was very pleasant. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the units, while a bit dated, were large and clean. The grounds were very well kept and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub near our unit.

It's a great spot for those into tennis or horses, and there is good hiking and several nice golf courses nearby as well as a casino.

Our main disappointments were that there are not many good restaurants in the area and we found it to be a longer drive than expected to San Diego, the beaches and some of the other places we wanted to visit (about an hour).

If you like low key resorts and don't mind a lot of time in the car, this is a good spot. There are some great bakeries in the area and if you enjoy wines, plan a day in Temecula Wine Country.

This resort and the unit we stayed in was very clean and in good condition. The resort staff were very friendly and responded to requests quickly. The unit was a good size with lots of room to get lost in. At mid week there was a towel and linen exchange with a bathroom and kitchen cleaning as well.

The description was accurate and all facilities were very good. The pool was large and heated and had 3 gas BBQ's near it. Each unit had a small electric BBQ as well on the patio/verandah. There were 3 sets of washers and dryers each costing $1.00 to use. There was a health club, but for children we could only find 5 video games and nothing else.

Nearby attractions consisted of a horseback riding stable. As for dining the resort is fairly isolated and we found 1 restaurant within 2 miles and the next was found in the small town of Ramona about 8 miles away. It was about an 1 hour drive to San Diego and slightly longer to Tijuana.

They did have orientation meetings on Friday and Saturday mornings, but it seemed that check-in was on Saturday and Sunday so it didn't really add to the stay.

There were no attempts to do a timeshare presentation.

We would stay at the resort again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

All seven nights we spent there were very comfortable and we felt very much at home.

The amenities are every bit as advertised. Management of our needs and the entire Maintenance crew were extremely helpful and accommodating. We have stayed in a few lovely resorts over the years, but this one is very precious to us.

Your experience there will be one of rest and relaxation as well as being able to enjoy days of quiet resolution and nights in peaceful slumber.

The resort is overall nice. But had a weird (and hopefully unique) accident there:

Stayed here in 1996. The master bathroom 6' X 4' mirror fell off the wall on me. Cut me up and left me with scars. Could have been worse though, I had just been holding my 6 week old son, but had laid him down.

The mirror only had dry wall screws holding the mirror in its track. (should have had glue backing as well).

The staff were great, they moved my family to another unit immediately. I begged them to have all the unit mirrors rehung properly. (don't know if that happened?) I hope this issue has not happened to someone else.
