Great location and attentive & knowledgable staff. Very clean. Just about the best "cold foods only" breakfasts I have ever had.

The room we had was microscopic the first night we stayed there, even by SF standards, We were moved the next day and the rest of the stay was great. Very comfortable beds.

The kitchettes are inadequate in my opinion. Very small. Not good for much more than making coffee or tea, maybe a few cold drinks, and keeping your leftover dinner cool until the next day. We like to cook one meal a day in the room to save money, and could not do that like we can at several other B&Bs in the city. If you don't cook, don't worry about it.

Did not eat any dinners at the hotel, as my Peruvian born wife prefers the very good Fina Estampa Perurian food on Van Ness, but if dinner is anything like breakfast...

Not as close to some the attactions and amenities as some B&Bs, and the rooms may be a bit smaller, but it is also more recently updated and has a better breakfast. It is also not on a steep hill like some B&Bs in the city are. Overall, highly recommended. 4.5 stars if you don't cook and 4 stars if you do.

This is a fabulous, newly renovated, San Francisco boutique hotel and timeshare. Steps away from the San Francisco Opera House and Davis Symphony Hall, two blocks from new site of Asian Art Museum, with great access to public transportation. Proximity to cultural activities means not only convenience - one rides the elevator with some famous cultural icons. A fabulous breakfast spread is included. There is a terrific restaurant and bar and good service at the desk and concierge. I love this place!

Greatest city for walking or get a Passport for cable cars. Leave your car at home! Great location for music lovers. Stayed here a few years ago, would go back again just for the complimentary breakfast. I felt like an heiress, thanks to the attentive care of staff.
