Nestled in the woods that surround Lake Morency, Club Geopremiere offers you a peaceful getaway. During the summer, you can fish, steer a canoe on the lake, paddleboat, play golf, go horseback riding close by or go for a hike in one of the trails on site. For wintertime action, enjoy the slopes of St. Sauveur, only 10 miles away, or the cross-country ski or snowmobile trails on-site. Snowmobiles are available for rent on-site. Year-round, you'll love the alpine charm of St. Hippolyte, the resort's hometown. For more diversion, the sights and shops of Montreal are within an hour's drive.

Just returned from a week at this property. The pictures on redweek do not do it justice..it really is a beautiful place..very quaint and cozy and the 2 bedroom unit was big. We were in an older unit-so there was no washer/dryer and the bed was a queen not a king..the second bedroom had 2 twin beds. Like I said older-but very clean and well kept..the property is spotless..much pride here! You will not go wrong..it is 3 hours to Quebec City which is well worth the travel..or you can take a tour..we drove..also close to beautiful st. laurent mountain ski resort area which is beautiufl and has a brand new casino if you are into that! Do not hesitate to book here..has a log cabin feel.. the fall colors were beautiful...arpan patel did a fair and honest tansaction! thanks Arpan-had a GREAT vacation..can't retun to Canada again and again! Just LOVE this amazingly clean country!

We were in a 2bd Lockout. It was a new unit; I believe we were the first to stay there. The 2bd room units are older and do not have air conditioning. The 2bd Lockout units have air conditioning and a washer and dryer combination between the A and B sides. We had both units (because we had expected another couple to accompany us but they couldnt go) and enjoyed our stay very much.
We took both the Montreal and the Quebec City tours. They were both very well done. We liked Quebec City over Montreal because of the buildings and scenery, and because we were allowed to spend more time in the old historic section of Quebec.
I also went on the fishing tour but was not very happy with it because I was told they would clean the fish I caught so we could have them for supper. They threw my fish away and told me they were contaminated with parasites. I think they just didnt want to clean them because they were small. I would not recommend this tour. These were the most expensive fish I ever caught! They could have replaced my fish with fresh fish from the market, and I would never have known, but they didnt want to share my $148 with the grocer, I guess! The company that sponsored this tour was called Austin Mega sports.
We hiked to the top of the mountain overlook (about a 15 minute walk up a rocky slope) and enjoyed the view.
The staff at the resort was very helpful. The restaurant at the Auberge (means the inn, or resort) had very good, truly French cuisine. It was expensive to us ($24-28 per person for a basic meal, not including drinks), but was worth it to experience something really different. You must remember that French Canada collects 15% tax on most services and goods, and sometimes adds 15% gratuities to the bill without your asking. All the menus everywhere in the province are in French, as are all the road and traffic signs. There is a law prohibiting English language on the signs unless it is a registered trademark name. This is to protect the future growth of French heritage there. But most people speak at least a little English, and many, especially business people, are totally bilingual.
We do not have plans to return to this resort although there is still a lot of actives we did not have time for.

We stayed in a Studio for a weekend in Mar 02, and then a full week in our 1 Bedroom unit in Aug 02. The studio was cozy for the four of us but comfortable enough for a weekend, and there were five downhill ski resorts to chose from plus tubing.
The summer week was awesome. We played a lot of tennis and beach volleyball, we used the free kayaks and canoes daily, took in a day of water sliding at Mt St. Sauveur, spent a day hiking at Mt Tremblant (about 45 mins away), shopped at the outlet malls in Mt St Sauveur, swam, and sun-bathed on the private lake with a nice sandy beach. The biggest thrill was the guided half-day of ATVing - do not miss it!! We can hardly wait to get back in Aug 04 for a family reunion.
