Scenery and outdoor activities in the area are
so wonderful, especially as you drive north.
This Whiski Jack is right in the village, you can
walk to everything, and there is underground
free parking BUT assigned spots are so
narrow that mid size cars cannot be parked
without door damage.
Unit is VERY well equipped for a studio but
there is no view at all on top floor, with only
one high dormer "attic" window (not for
claustrophobics)
Good security with entry to floor on keyed
elevator BUT door to building is in alcove with
doors to kitchen receiving area (also unoffical
staff smoking area) which made for an
uninviting appearance and smells, and noisy
delivery trucks in early am.
You have to trek your garbage down in the
elevator, across the street in front of a patio
restaurant, through the Holiday Inn lobby,
down another elevator and through the
parking garage to a large nasty cage outside
the garage, which was sometimes locked.
Be aware that it is REALLY NOISY at night, esp
from 2-4 am after bars close...unit is over and
surrounded by bar patios & you need (small)
windows open because the AC is a
portable unit inside with a hose going
out the window which has to stay wide open.
It was HOT in August.
Go to Whistler but stay somewhere else!
