We spent the week between christmas and New year here. It was great. The two bedroom lockout was perfect for 2 families traveling together. The facility is nice. Not flashy but I was impressed with the rooms. Wifi is included but the service was sometimes slow and positional dependent. It is a small inconvenience to use the buses to get up to the mountain but the cost is much better than mountainside.
The bus to the grocery is pretty much on time. There is a car rental place at the Christy lodge across the street if interested. I would definitely go to this place again if traveling to Beaver Creek. Fifth star lost because of towels at the upstair spa were not always available. The sauna did not work while we were there. Staff was helpful. Wish they had a shuttle of their own. Still a strong recommendation.

We stayed here in a one-bedroom villa in August 2009. The "villa" was significantly below our expectations based on other Starwood properties we have seen of comparable options value. The rooms are very small, with only basic amenities -- feels like you are in a Holiday Inn. Only one basic shower, no jacuzzi. Bed was very uncomfortable, bed sheets felt like they had been in use for a very long time. Two old fashioned TV sets, small and dirty balcony with birds poop all over. Carpet in the room was stained everywhere, totally disgusting to stand on. Floors in the bathroom were good though :)
Most disapoointing was that there was no central air conditioning!! it was quite hot outside, all windows were open and a very noisy and quite useless portable AC was installed in the living room, which we would not use because of the "helicopter take-off" noise it generated.
I can not believe this place rents for $500 a night on redweek.com, absolutely incredible. I certainly would not recommend it to anyone, looking for a high quality accomodation. I think a good Holiday Inn is much better value compared to this disaster. Did I mention -- long distance phone calls were $5.75/min and local 81 cents/min !!

Great resort! We have stayed here the past two years & if my husband hadn't injured his knee we would be going back this year!
The rooms are beautifully decorated & maintained . We have been in Jan '06 & Feb '04 & we had no problems with the underground parking, we have always found a spot just fine.
We have always taken another couple & the smaller unit has fit 4 adults comfortably. The unit is listed with only one full bath but the master bedroom has a tub & oversized mirror so everyone can get ready in the morning without delays.
We love both Vail & Beaver Creek so staying in Avon has made the most sense for us. We snowboard / ski Beaver Creek & then head over to Vail for the nightlife.
We had enjoyed our time at this hotel & will be back next year!

A nice place, but not five stars in my book. Stayed here for two nights on a promotion/timeshare sales presentation. Rooms were nicely decorated and furnished. Lots of little things weren't quite right or were downright irritating: front desk staff couldn't keep up with the amount of people there...always a wait in person or on the phone. Elevators likewise crowded--they only have two for the entire building. Salesman was somewhat confrontational and gave innacurate information (I won't say he lied, but...). Room temperature hard to control, it was hot even on a very cold day. One tv remote was missing, remote for cd player didn't work, alarm clock and light didn't work because electrical outlet didn't work, parking garage got full and we couldn't find a spot. I asked them at the desk if they could either move some of the junk they had stored in a parking slot, or track down those who had parked in two spaces, but they wouldn't. So, nice potential, but they need to work out a lot of kinks.

Fantastic resort, great location. Right next door to Beaver Creak. Only problem is that right outside the room is the pool with loud children.
