Having stayed at many locations around the Disney area I was looking foward to trying this one. I have to say in a lot of ways it was very very nice. Location can't be beat!!! New, nice decor, top grade in almost every way. It's still on "my list" but it's not at the top. The living area is much smaller than many (Hilton Grands/Marriotts etc) The pools are tiny compared to most. Lazy river is pretty small (and full of running kids) My biggest problem with this place is the phone calls EVERY SINGLE MORNING! There was one morning in our whole week we were not woken up by the front desk or whoever they are calling you at some horribly early hour. We're not get up real early and go to the park people so not everyone would get woken up but still....8 am? Sorry I'm on vacation! (and not everyone who comes to the Disney area are there to hit the parks at opening. Let us sleep)! Also taking NO for an answer isn't one of their priorities. Of course some of the calls were masked as "how is everything in your room"? Each and every time I told them to please not call again and we are not interested. Next morning...phone call. IF we ever do rent here again unplugging the phone will be the first thing I do.....all 3 phones. Internet connection not bad....it involves plugging in the phone though....hmmm? One other thing I didn't care about in buggy FL is the porches were not screened. GREAT view from our room though. Could see EPCOT and MK fireworks show great. We did see one other but aren't sure from where they were coming from.
I can live with the smaller quarters but the phone calls and pools put this resort in my "if I can't get anything else" catagory.

Just came back yesterday from a week stay at the Bonnet Creek Resort. Our stay was very nice. The resort is located 5 to 10 minutes away from all the theme parks which makes it nice to come back for a swim on a hot afternoon and hop right back to the parks. The location is great..Resort staff is friendly and helpfull..Just don't get miss led, this is not a Disney Resort. It is just located on Disney property. Which means they bought land from Disney and built on it..
Only one little complaint which was we stood in the front main building and woke up every morning to pounding and hammering and when i went down stairs to complain and asked if they could at least hold off until 8 a.m. the front desk act liked they knew nothing of the construction..They told us that all that was under our unit was the sales floor and we must be mistaken..My husband and i took a look outside under our room floor and you could see in the window all the construction that was going on in the room under us..We even spoke with the workers when they were leaving for the day..They verified that they were working under our room..I just wish the staff would have pre- warned us of the noise to come..Or at least appoligize for it, not deny it..Also the phone lines were down for at least two to three days and no one was notified of it..so if you did not have a cell phone, you had no other means of communication..We are not owners at the time and seeing how we can be lied to so easily, makes us think twice of even considering it.. Other then that,we enjoyed our stay at the Bonnet Creek..
The kitchen has enough cookware to cook all three meals..Bathrooms are well stocked with towels and toilet paper..And small bottles of shampoo and bar soap to start you off if you forgotten yours..If you need to shop at a store for groceries, i would suggest the super Walmart Store, if you do not know where it is, look it up in the phone book in your unit..It will save you a lot of money on groceries..(Just don't be alarmed of the crowd, the store is prepared for it and all cashiers are open and the lines go fast.)
The small gift shop/store is highly over priced, it is good for emergency needs..(for example, i bought a half gallon of O.J. and a very small bottle of A.1 sauce and it cost me a little over $12.00.) Ouch, huh?
I hope this info helps anyone wanting to stay, our family had a great time and would definitely rent at the Bonnet Creek Resort again.

We stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek late Feb. through early Mar. 08. It is a very nice resort adjacent to the Disney theme parks and other Disney resorts. Check-in and Check-out were smooth. Staff were friendly and attentive.
We had a 2 Brm. which was very nice, clean and spacious, though not quite as spacious as other resorts we have stayed in. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues which were promptly corrected.
The resort offered quite a few activities, of which we did a few. We purchased our Disney tickets at a decent discount after a short timeshare presentation. They had a great Concierge service offering a wealth of local knowledge and other area discounts. The resort has 2 heated pools(one with a lazy river), numerous hot tub spas, and a miniature golf course. They offered complimentary shuttle to an from all Disney theme parks and had adequate pick up times.
The resort is in the process of a final build-out, but it was not a distraction. Other development is coming to the Bonnet Creek area including hotels and much need retail and restaurants. Grocery stores are approximately 2 miles and fairly easy to get to once you know where you are going (ask the Concierge).
Overall we had a very pleasant stay at a very nice resort.

We rented a 2-bedroom from December 21st to January 1st. Our unit was on the 5th floor of tower 5. We couldn't see the Epcot fireworks, but we were able to see 4 different fireworks display on New Year's Eve. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is the best I have ever experienced. Even though there was construction of another tower right next to our's, we never noticed any noise. My only complaint is that the lazy river ride isn't very "lazy" because children were always in it racing each other. We aren't owners but plan to be. It was an absolutely wonderful vacation.

We stayed here for a short weekend, and were pleasantly surprised.
The resort is on Disney property, although a little difficult to find at first, very close to Downtown Disney and Epcot.
We stayed in the newer Phase III building (just opened apparently in August, 2007), on teh 11th floor (15 floors total), facing the "lake" (their own manmade one in the center of the project). The view was nice, and with a balcony, we found our 2BD unit to be quite nice. Looks like units on the other side also had decent views of the lush vegitation and Disney theme parks. All the amenities were brand new, so there was nothing to complain about there either.
The pool area was also nice. We used only one of the currerntly existing two pools (though it seems another is under construction). The one we used also had a lazy river, which was also nice and relaxing. There was also a miniature golf course on site, but we did not get to use it because we were not there long enough.
For those who also need to work, our room had free internet access (not wireless), so make sure you have an ethernet cable with you. Otherwise, I think there is also wireless internet in the lobby.
I am generally very critical, but have to admit that this resort is nice (at least our room, and stay was).
If you are a Fairfield/Wyndham owner, check out the website for times where availabilit is more open, and discount incentives are given.

My family just returned from a week at the Bonnet Creek location (SEPT 07). Our first impression when we walked into the 2- bedroom unit was complete satisfaction. The unit was by far the cleanest, most posh looking, and spacious unit we have rented in over 20 years. It was simply beautiful with good attention to detail.
Our children (6 and 2 years old) very much enjoyed the kid pool areas, miniature golf (free for two hours), craft areas, playgrounds, etc. Normally when we go to Disney, we spend almost all day at the parks just because the rental sites do not always have that much to offer....not this time. Our kids liked being at the resort as much as spending the day with Mickey Mouse and pals. Every day the resort had something kid-friendly to offer. Also related to Disney - while not a "Disney property," the resort is within the confines of Disney - no need to hit I4 at all unless you want. We cannot comment on the shuttles (we had a rental car), but from the literature the staff provided, the resort apparently did/does offer regular service.
While the location is a good 10 minutes from a grocery store, the on site pizzeria and cantina were great for a quick meal. The staff was extra friendly and honestly seemed happy to be working at such a gorgeous resort.
We tried very hard to think of any negatives we encoutered during our stay such that our review was "real," but we had not one.

My family stayed in a two bedroom unit in April '07. The location is just down from Downtown Disney (one or two miles). The design is impressive in spite of the construction and my children thought we spent a mint. The unit was really nice too- leather couch, iron chairs at the bar, large gorgeous dining table, washer & dryer in unit, large jacuzzi in master. I also liked the master bath in which the jacuzzi and a sink were in one part, and the shower, toilet, and another sink were in another adjacent area. Very spacious!! The only drawback was the master bed & pillows; the bed was harder than I like and the pillows were flatter. However, I think most would have no problem with the bed. The resort has an appealing man-made pond with a sidewalk all around. I would definitely stay here again!

My family and I just came back from renting two two bedroom units. Having stayed at other resorts and being an owner on the outside we were extremely pleased with the location as well as the amentities. It couldn't be any closer to disney then their own timeshares. Everything was great. The pools and the staff. Would definitely go back again and never thing twice about it. Our kids as well as the grandkids loved everything about it.

I visited with my family over Easter week and stayed in 2 bed unit. Standards of furnishing are high and staff are very friendly. It's extremely close to the Disney Parks and has a good activities center for when parents need a break. 1 key suggestion would be to allow meal charges to ones room at the pool bar/restaurant rather than accept cash only.

We own here, and have visited here. Except for two maintenance issues, which were resolved promptly, every thing was terrific. We plan on returning to vacation at this lovely resort, even if we don't do the theme park routine.

Great resort - even with all the construction. The location is perfect, the units are nice, and the staff was incredibly nice. Had a few maintenance issues that were resolved very quickly. Not as large as the Marriott resorts - but I found that a plus in the off-season. Would be interested to see how crowded the amenities got in the summer.
Plans call for more pools and restaurants - plus if you have not heard- there are 2 more timeshare units being constructed now - with ground being broken for a Wyndham Hotel as well. In addition, Hilton will be putting 2 hotels in the Bonnet Creek area, one being a Waldorf Astoria. There is also a championship golf course being built adjacent to the property.
Overall- this is an excellent resort- and with the upscale additions coming by 2009, this should be the nicest, most desirable area in Orlando.

Just returned from a 6-night stay in a 2BR unit...Everything worked out fine... I have stayed here twice before (rentals) and have always found the accommodations and service to be excellent. I was advised that the new Wyndham Reception Center is scheduled to open this week. It is very spacious and certainly an improvement from the smaller area in which employees had to take reservations, etc.
The new 15-story building has a large garage (open and enclosed) to accommodate occupants.
I did have to explain to a first-time vacationer at Bonnet Creek, who was quite perturbed , that it was not "within Disney's Gates." She noticed the arched DISNEYWORLD name on Osceola Pkwy and only then realized that it was not a "Gate." She apparently was lead to believe that B.C. was situated within the Disney theme park grounds...and just not adjacent to other DVC properties.

My family and I spent 5 nights in 2 2-bedroom rooms. It was a lot of fun. The decor for this resort is gorgeous. Each living room has leather funiture. We had all the "5 star amenities" - washer and dryer, beautiful full kitchen, large shower and hot tub in the master bed, and balcony.
I decided to give it four stars because of the following: There is a lot of construction going on. Our rooms overlooked the constructions site. We had no nearby pool. We had to travel thru the parking lot to the main entrance where the pool was located. Once there we were told that we should have bought our room towels to dry ourselves even though they had pool towels at the front desk.
The location is within Disney - so you get to be really close to Disney without all of the Disney perks. You miss out on shuttles to every park every 20 minutes, airport shuttle, and meal plan. Since you can't access these things, you most likey will be driving, and you will not be able to find anything close by.
Even with these issues, we still had a great time and felt pampered in a 5 star resort.

I work at Bonnet Creek and I'm an owner of the property. The location is exceptional, the villas are nicely decorated, and customer service is tops. The best part about it is that the Resort is still growing, and only going to get better.

This is the gem of the Fairfield resorts. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the third floor in view of Epcot and the fire work at nigth. The decore was well appointed and the space was more than we hope for. The staff was polite and very helpful. The security was greatfull to give us direction to the Super Wal- Mart for food and everything else. We stayed for seven days Aug.14-21 and were able to visit three theme parks (Animal Kingdom & both Universal parks). Bonnett Creek is the ONLY non-Disney resort within Disney gate like no other. The wife and kids enjoyed the pools and for me the fitness room small but workable. The place is still growning and the grounds are well kept. If you are looking for tickets discount then take the so call 45min tour. Before you leave make sure you visit Disney City Walk for some good eats. We are owners with Fairfield( Kingsgate & Cypress palms). Overall Bonnett Creek is where its at!!!

This resort is awesome. Perfect for couples or families. We've stayed there 3 times already. You'll want to move in! One thing though - you will need a car to get around for stores and groceries (5mins away). It has a beautiful huge pool, lazy river, beautiful decor, high speed internet, day care, billiards, gym, cafe etc - and they're still expanding. Everything's new and spacious. Definely 5 star experience.

Just visited here and had a wonderful time. 3- bedroom was spacious, but only had 2 baths. 2 king and one 2 double bedrooms for 6 adults and 2 kids. While close to Disney, it wasn't convenient to shopping, groceries, etc. Shuttle available to and from Disney, but not associated with Disney until you get to the parks. I would return to Star Island before coming back here, although the ammenities and resort staff were very helpful and courteous.
