HGVC at Waikoloa Beach Resort

We just returned from a one-week stay through an RCI exchange. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom ground floor unit with a golf course view. Every unit has recently been completely remodeled! Beautiful resort on the Big Island!

We just returned from this resort. The resort is gorgeous. The room is spacious and hot tub in masterbedroom is nice and huge.

We took the shuttle, which wass every 30 minutes, from the resort to Hilton Waikoloa Village. You can spend a few days in the Village. You can go around the Village with monotrain or river boat. The swimming pools, Logoon sand beach and the dolphin pool are attracting adults and children. Childrens are having a great time there. The food was pricy in Hilton Waikoloa Village. You can bring a cooler and sandwitch there. The unit has washer and dryer. We wash and dry our swimming suits every day. The kitchen was nice with all ultensils. We went to the near by grocery store got enough beers, cold cuts, juice, eggs and bread. We have breakfast in our unit. We went to Waimei farm market got a lot of freshly baked bread and fruits (papaya was 50 cents each in the farm market and it was about $4 each in the supermarket) We eat fruits for snacks and breakfast. Pineapple was sweet.

We also went to the Volcano National Parks. It is nice. We enjoyed very much.

This resort is gorgeous and it is situated right on a golf course and within a short distance of the beach. Visitors will enjoy a beautiful golf course view (with a view of the ocean in the background if you have a unit on the 3rd floor and in some cases the 2nd floor). If you get a first floor, dont fret...imagine walking out into nice green grass at the edges of the golf course...not bad. A Hilton bus leaves on the hour for the Hilton Hotel which has giant swimming pools, dolphin shows and dolphin experience for kids (kids even get to pet a dolphin), and many shops and restaurants. The Waikoloa resort itself has a great pool so if you go to the hotel it will be for the other amenities besides the pool. The same bus also takes you to Kings shops (minutes away) where you can get fast food, fine restaurant dining, groceries or a 70K Rolex watch if you can afford it. Bottom line, this is a fine place to visit for kids and adults alike. If you enjoy walking there are plenty of places to walk and within minutes you can reach an area where there are petrogliphs. Also several times each week right by the pool they have activites as they have dancers, singers, and other entertainers for your enjoyment. Thursdays are free ice cream day by the pool at 4:30. Always something going on by the pool. They have tennis courts and balls and rackets are provided. In short, a great place to spend your vacation.

A wonderful resort, esp. for families. Spectacular pools, lagoons - a beautiful property. The timeshare units are located down the street from the resort - brand new & gorgeous. Many excellent restaurants nearby.

We just bought a timeshare at this property and can't say enough about this gorgeous, new resort with full privileges at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort!
