Cabo Villas Beach Resort & Spa

We have been members/owners of Cabo Villas Beach Resort since 1999 when we purchased our first timeshare in the original building because of the wonderful view. Since then, we purchased again in the new building (beachfront) because that view is better and we "just had to have it". Easy to decide after a few bloody mary's. Anyway, we are quite pleased with the location and accomodations, but the true reason we love Cabo Villas is the wonderful staff!

We visit Cabo San Lucas a few times each year and always stay at Cabo Villas and after reading some of the reviews on here, I do agree ... there was a period in time when there was alot of construction going on within the resort as well as on both sides (Casa Dorada and the Hacienda). The construction is all done now!

I would not even consider trading my Cabo Villas Membership for any other!

*** BUYER BEWARE *** Before investing in a timeshare at Cabo Villas. You should know about their special assessment fees. This fee is over and above the maintenance fee that you know about when you sign a contract. The management claim they can do this because they still have a majority ownership in the owner's association. So, last year they had an association meeting (without the knowledge of other timeshare owners such as me) and decided to assess a special fee of $75 per week owned. They claim this was the first time they ever levied a special assessment. Even if that is true, if they did it once they can do it again, and who says that it won't be $100, $200, or $500 the next time. Secondly, you have to watch your room charges on your credit card because they like to add extra charges to it. In spite of this, Cabo Villas is a fun resort with a great beach club and I go back every year. However, my advise is that you are much better to rent from other owners than to invest in a timeshare ownership here.

We have stayed in building one in the executive suite on the sixth (top) floor. This is an oceanfront corner unit with jacuzzi on the patio. The view of Medano Beach is spectacular. Adjacent to this beautiful resort are brand new full time ownership oceanfront villas and condos priced well into the millions.

The resort has several restaurants including a brewpub, 3 pools, gym and spa. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the wharf, shopping mall and steps away from The Office. The service was excellent. The room was cleaned every day and the staff is always ready to help.

I highly recommend Cabo Villas Beach Resort to those with discriminating taste.

This beautiful beachfront resort is conveniently located within walking distance to the Marina and downtown nightlife -- a rare combination of both convenience and luxury! The place offers the convience of a hotel, but the comforts of home.

One Bedroom Deluxe Suite has an ocean view facing the pool. The room is equipped with one king-size bed, one queen-size sofa in the living room, kitchenette, mini refrigerator, toaster, blender, coffee-maker, microwave, kitchen utensils, iron, and hair-dryer. Use the safe-deposit box; my friend had a ring stolen from the room, and it marred our otherwise perfect vacation.

This property boasts an amazing, modern spa and a couple of restaurant options -- something for everyone! The rooftop restaurant offers an amazing view of the arch.

This resort is in the best location in Cabo. It's located on the only swimable beach (Medano) and is a 5 minute walk to the Marina and Downtown. The neighborhood construction is complete so there isn't any more construction noise. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have granite bathrooms and kitchens. Almost all of the rooms have waterviews. The service is excellent.
