With its exceptional climate and diverse landscape, Los Cabos offers a great variety of recreational facilities. Los Cabos has become one of the most requested destinations due to its five professional golf courses. It is also considered the marlin fishing capital. Enjoy kayaking and parasailing or a cruise to the famous arch.
Cabo Villas Beach Resort is located on Medano Beach (the only safe swimable beach in Cabo) and is a 5 minute walk to the marina and downtown. Cabo Villas Beach resort is the brand new "Phase 2" addition to the Cabo Villas resort in Cabo San Lucas.

This is a great resort, especially if you book the highest quality units, EXECUTIVE UNITS, BAYVIEW SUITES (the newest section) and the famous OCEANFRONT UNITS. They have stylish rooms with very large private terraces with private JACUZZI and even wet bars (in Bayview Suites Executive Units). These two bedroom units are 1,200 - 1,600 sq. ft and have 2 or 3 baths. They sleep 6, ( but the resort will bring in a hideawy to Sleep 8 people).
The Master Suite is spectacular with AMAZING VIEWS OF EL ARCOS, Cabo's famous landmark, directly across the water. There is a 5 piece bath with glass shower and separate Soaking Tub. From the Master, you can walk out onto the massive terrace. We LOVE watching the sunrises from our private Jacuzzi and looking out at the cruise ships that dock close by and all the wildlife, parasailers, etc. This is a very fun resort, but it gets very quiet at night, too, so you can sleep. There are 3 seperate pools, one with a swim up bar that is adults only. The resort also has hundreds of lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach near the water and you can order drinks and food from your lounge chairs. Happy Hour is every day. There are some great restaurants at the resort and the BEST RESTAURANT in all of Cabo, the Hacienda de Contina, is just a short stroll down the beach. Prices are low and the atmosphere is amazing. GO THERE!
We also love walking to the MARINA with its shopping mall and many restuarants. Downtown is also a short walk with the local scene and flea market. Even WalMart is not far away. Everything is so close here, (unlike the other resorts in Cabo with are on unsafe beaches and are many miles from nowhere). Come and Enjoy --- this resort is stylish and close to everything fun! YOU WILL LOVE IT! Plus the VIEWS ARE SPECTACULAR!!!!

Just got back on Feb 18th, I'am a member of Global Adventures and stayed in a 2BR 2Bath rooom. It was the worst room in the hotel because of the Global adventure membership. All the members rooms are given out first and then the others follow. It faced the pool wall and was next to the utility closet. They did not offer to change our room and had to accept this room for the entire stay. BEWARE OF GLOBAL ADVENTURES MEMBERSHIP.

We have owned here since 2008. We originally bought to rent out, we have done this successfully twice, just stayed here for the first time in May of this year, took another couple with us and had a great time. I highly recommend a day trip to Lapaz, it is well worth the small price, or sit through the 90 minute presentation and get it free, as well as other freebies. They wont push you like some others, simply here them out and let them know your intentions up front. We found that the current value of our (1) bed room suit is still a little more than we paid for it, a good thing.

We have been members/owners of Cabo Villas Beach Resort since 1999 when we purchased our first timeshare in the original building because of the wonderful view. Since then, we purchased again in the new building (beachfront) because that view is better and we "just had to have it". Easy to decide after a few bloody mary's. Anyway, we are quite pleased with the location and accomodations, but the true reason we love Cabo Villas is the wonderful staff!
We visit Cabo San Lucas a few times each year and always stay at Cabo Villas and after reading some of the reviews on here, I do agree ... there was a period in time when there was alot of construction going on within the resort as well as on both sides (Casa Dorada and the Hacienda). The construction is all done now!
I would not even consider trading my Cabo Villas Membership for any other!

Pros: Excellent location, decent rooms, party atmosphere for those that want it.
Cons:Lots of smokers, heavier drinking crowd, party atmosphere for those that do not want it, despite location most rooms have little view of bay, staff tries hard and want to please but are pretty inexperienced, resort shows age.
This is a place we used as a launching point to go and do activities from (para-sail, snorkel, drive to Todos Santos...) It was not a really the resort we wanted to lounge around and spend time at during the day. At Pueblo Bonito Sunset, we loved just relaxing (in our ocean view room or by pools) and the resort was the focus. Very upscale yet relaxed guests and facility.
