Description

Set on the soft sand beach of Waikiki, Hilton Hawaiian Village is a destination unto itself. This resort offers guests cozy studios and spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom timeshare villas. Villas are equipped with a full kitchen, air conditioning, and a washer and dryer on each floor.

Hilton Hawaiian Village rests on 22 acres of prime Oahu beachscape. Enjoy any of the resort's three swimming pools, whirlpool spa, Mandara Spa and Holistica Hawaii Health Center, barber shop and beauty salon, supervised recreation programs, and restaurants and lounges. Just beyond the Hilton's walls, scuba diving, snorkeling, and Atlantis Submarines offer unsurpassed views of a vibrant underseas world.

If you are able to tear yourself away from the resort for a day, experience Hawaii by air with Island Seaplane Service, the only air tour in all of Hawaii. Why battle the crowds on foot, when you can cover the entire island by air in a fraction of the time? Island Seaplane Service offers three booking options: the half-hour Aloha Flight, the one-hour Islander Flight, and the Dinner and Flight which includes a gourmet catered meal.

Learn to ask, dear reviewer.

I'm sure if you asked for assistance at the desk, they would find the beach towels you needed. You can ALWAYS ask for fresh towels and to have trash removed. Your owner should have advised you of parking charges, and parking is also available across the street at the Hale Koa lot. In general, ask questions from your owner, who should have already stayed at this location. Don't get mad just because you did not think to ask for help.

We reserved a studio unit for 6 nights and were given a small bedroom with a lockout door to a larger unit. Couldn't watch tv without lying on bed which was a problem when we were getting dressed up to go out at night. Because we didn't stay 7 nights we got no housekeeping services, no fresh bathroom towels and no garbage removed which became overflowing. Pools very crowded, out of beach towels by 8:30AM, to use beach with two lounge chairs and an umbrella costs $62 per day. If beach towels not returned at days end another $10 charge per day. If your have a rental car you will be charged $24 plus tax per day to park it at the resort. Food and beverage prices were exorbitant, much better and cheaper to take a short walk or trolley ride to Lewers Ave for reasonable food and drink. Resort was nice to look at and walk through otherwise a money pit.

This is a fabulous resort. I stayed in the Lagoon Tower four years ago and again this year. The views are gorgeous. Hilton Hawaiian Village is the best resort in Waikiki. I won't stay anywhere else. It is just outside the really busy Waikiki area, so it has a nicer feel and is very tropical. The beach is beautiful and now the lagoon is useable. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. I give it five stars.

The Lagoon Tower is situated next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The ocean view is magnificent and it is right on the new lagoon that just opened last year. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki beach is breathtaking.
