Club MenDan is situated in Zalakaros, in south western Hungary surrounded by vineyards and gardens. Zalakaros is well known for the remarkable medicinal thermal bath discovered in the 60's, with its water of 96 °C, it is the warmest spa in Hungary. This thermal water is famous for its healing properties. The bath is open throughout the year on a field of 13 hectares with 14 pools of different water temperature. The open-air thermal pools and spa-water pools of 24, 32, 36 °C offer pleasant bathing. There is also a pool with a wave machine.

Attractions nearby include the Nature Conservation Area, Kis-Balaton, the buffalo reserve in Kápolnapuszta and the bird reserve in Zimány. The castle in Keszthely or a trip by boat on the Lake Balaton are also available. In the small town of Nagykanizsa, which lies 20km from Zalakaros, there is a Turkish well, Synagogue, Thury György Museum and an art gallery.
