Rented a full week on the 8th floor junior penthouse unit---Unit 8A. Everything went extremely well. Great, great views of the Atlantic ocean as well as Ormond Beach and Holly Hill..

This is one of the oldest timeshare buildings in the Daytona Beach area. Nevertheless, especially after the 2004 hurricane damage, the units are no worse for the wear. Most all have been redone I was told.

KNOW THIS: Not all units have wrap-around balconies..ONLY the oceanfront and the cityscape-front units do. Still, the place is situated in an ideal location. The pool area is excellent-with pool time extending up until midnight!

The underground garage (unit reserved) is a good feature-shielding your car from the daytime sun. No charge for this feature. There is also some outside limited angle parking.

Ocean Front Resort with really great location in the center of Daytona Beach and close to main bridge connecting beach island to mainland and therefore ease of access to everything Daytona has to offer.

Totally renovated resort and newly remodeled LARGE units!

Lovely pool area and very nice amenities.

I own at this resort and was last there July 06. Everything has been completed remodeled inlcuding all units, furnishings, lobby area, game room and exercise room. This past year they refurbished the pool area, beach stairs, elevators and sea wall, with more still on the way. This is a 5 star resort with lots of amenities, gigantic purposely built timeshare units, great staff and great location, about 2 miles north of Main St on AIA. If you are looking at a resale unit, make sure the owner has paid in full for their special assessments or at least reveal the amount due in Sept 07, March 08 and March and Sept 09, as most brokers and resellers do not disclose that on their advertising. The average assessment due to hurricanes and rennovations is around $1000, paid in 4 installments, but the resort is better than new and is hard to find on the resale market due to owner satisfaction. Great location, large units, love it!

When I arrived, construction was being performed on the resort. They were working on all the balconies. At least half the units had a blue plastic covering over the windows and there was no access to the balconies. Be prepared to be awaken in the morning by the constuction. Every unit has one designated parking spot which is located in the garage area under the building. This is one of the better secure resorts I have been to. You need a key to enter the underground garage. You will then need a different key to open the elevator door and of course your room key. At check-in key deposit is $25.00 per key, returned when you check out. The rooms are first rate. The unit I was in looked like it had been refurbished or extremely taken care of. There are two TV's. One in the master bedroom and one in the living room area. If you take a laptop, be prepared to unplug the phone. The pool area is maintained everyday. Every morning I would see a member of the staff cleaning the pool. And on Tuesday when I was there it was free hot dogs and soft drinks. The game room is play at your own risk if you know what I mean. If you are looking for a secure, small resort with great accomodations , I think you would be happy with Marine Terrace. But I would recommend going after the constuction has been completed, which should be by the end of the year.

This is a very nice 5 star resort. It is 8 stories high. The 8th floor has the penthouses. The 3 bedroom penthouses (B & C) face the ocean. The 2 bedroom penthouses (A & D) are on the street side, but still have great views of the ocean. The units of the 2nd-7th floor have the same floor plan. Units A & F are delux 1 bedroom units with a nice ocean view. Units B & E are 1 bedroom units with a nice view of the ocean. The C & D units are 2 bedroom, 3 full bath ocean front with fabulous views of the ocean and pool deck.

The greatest feature of this condo is that all outside walls are glass. This gives everyone great views of the ocean. The room are all quite large.

I definitely recommend this resort.

In addition to the three baths in the 2 bed units, the living room is quite spacious and rental rollaways are available. The unit I stayed in had a balcony all around. Th swimming pool was heated.

This is an excellent resort with excellent services. It is right on the ocean with great beach to walk and drive on. It has very nice amenities and excellent units with two baths in one bedroom deluxe units and three baths in 2 bedroom units. All two bedroom units are ocean front and all units have ocean views.

It is just one hour drive from Orlando and attractions so it is very convenient for relaxing and site seeing. Management is friendly and very helpful.
