Re: IBD-MARKETING . HAS ANYONE HEARD OF OR DEALT WITH THEM ? (by Sun or Snow T.):

This guy is a con artist, plain and simple. He talks a good talk because that is what they do. The guy has no intention of selling your timeshare because that would require work. They were already paid, so they aren't going to work for you, because where is the incentive?

When you list your house for sale, the Realtor must advertise, list it on the local MLS, put a sign on the property, show it to buyers, hold open houses, etc. All of these things, the Realtor does at no cost, in hopes of selling your house and helping you to buy a new home that better serves your needs. If you change your mind, the Realtor is out some money but that is the way it works. You are going to call that person again, when you decide to sell, because that person charged you nothing for their time and that leaves a good taste in your mouth.

I cannot even find a website for these guys and I searched for the company's name.

Bottomline: Don't believe the hype, it is the talk of a con artist that is out to get your money. They talk about how nothing is free in this world and you need to pay to list your timeshare, otherwise you will never sell. PLEASE! You can sell your timeshare week here yourself, as long as you ask a decent price. Timeshare weeks do not hold their values at all. Very few are worth even half of their original cost.

The true value of a timeshare is not in reselling, but it is in using it or renting it. Go to www.tug2.net and learn how to use your timeshare to your advantage. All of us on TUG are lovers of timeshare and can help you remember why you bought in the first place. Many of us bought timeshare from developers originally and have had to accept the truth, that our timeshares have lost value and cannot be sold for anywhere near what we paid. We commisserate with those who are disenchanted with their ownerships, but we will help you get what you want from it. I am rickandcindy23 on TUG. The site is free, but you can join for just $15 for a year, which allows you into the resort reviews and a few other places that non-members can't see. We will welcome you there!
