I'm wondering if it's better to just ignore paying the fees or to send a Notice of Cancellation to Bel Air. I've seen many postings about Mexico jurisdiction having no authority in the US. The advantage to sending the notice would be to have a paper trail. The con would be that they would have all my current address, phone number, etc. and I may be targeted. Has anyone had any success with sending a certifed mail Letter of Cancellation?
