I have been to many time share presentations and then I found this site. I want to rent a timeshare in Hawaii for next August 2008 but after reading some of the horror stories about being scammed and such I am not sure I what to do. I do not know how it all works.

If for example i want to go to Hawaii in August 2008 and I find a rental on Redweeks that I am interested in, do I contact the owner and negotiate the rental amount. If we agree to the price, does the owner than make a reservation in my name or how does all of this work. I am sure this material is on this site but I have yet to find it. Please be patient if I am asking a question in the wrong section.
