My wife received a voicemail from an "Andrea" at Belair today. She stated that she was calling from the collections dept. and wanted to set up payment arrangements. I advised my wife to ignore these calls. We've been receiving these monthly bills for the "special assessments" for years and we've just ignored them up until now. They seem to be stepping up their efforts to collect. Has anyone had a different experience with them? We have been paid up in full for about 20 years and don't use this resort at all. Has anyone actually been sent to a collection agency in the U.S. in order to try and collect on this special assessment? Any information on this would be helpful in perhaps coming up with a game plan moving forward against Belair should the need arise for legal action. We would be willing to participate.
