Re: IBD-MARKETING . HAS ANYONE HEARD OF OR DEALT WITH THEM ? (by Kenneth K.):

They don't listen. Ive written once to the AG...no response. I was commenting on the problems noted on TUG. I think THEY WANT the people with the problems to complain....

We (tug) used to have a link to the Fl Real Estate timeshare division, and we could also e mail them....but that seems to have disappeared.

I guess they WOULD listen if I were a Fl Resident. We will probably change residency this winter....maybe it will help stop the RE taxes from going up so much. I also think the NJ RE Commission may be trying to change the rules, as when I bring up the problem at any Marriott Owners meeting ( when they say I CAN collect the 40,000 points, I wonder if someone was able to 'adjust' the law....not sure.

I'd have a lot more power if I was the one paying for nothing.

And could I ask a professional Realtor a question? Why does Toni insist that a timeshare deeded week or fractional is not real estate? Why do we all pay real estate taxes on the product? Is she mis informed? Not trained correctly?

Trying to make sure any possibilities of someone using the company she represents would avoid them? This is why anyone who tried to 'help' give info on the public website about their company would be fired unless the company knew what info was given out ...(from a real company).

Judi....if prices continue to go down, pretty soon it might be cheaper to buy a yerar round condo in SE or SW Fl.....look at the Century Village listings for 55 & up now....some less that $40,000.

And Marriott wants to sell Marco Island units for $60,000 for one week???

How are you working to fix Florida's laws? What can I do to help?

In a few months, I'll ask for your help for contacts. I will contact you on your website ( I am KenK on the Forums, Tug & TA ) If you need info on the Hollywood/Ft Laud T/Ss I can try to help with that, too. (When I get there)
