Approx 1 year ago, we "purchaced" a weekend package for $49 with a cc. When they sold us this, we declined originally because we have a dog, but the guy said they would put us in a pet frindly motel in St. Augustine. After numerous phone calls from them, in which each time I advised them we had a dog, today a woman called me back to say we could not go! I have spoken to; *Craig, on 10/13/07, who sold it to me *Laurel, Sean, a supervisor, and Stacey a customer service agent on 11/6/07 - they said they would put us in the Comfort Suites and gave me the 800 telephone # *Fred on 11/14/07 to again confirm it, at that time he said no dogs!!! and would get back to me in 5 minutes...no return call at all that day * MaryEllen, left a voice mail to call her back...I did.."out of the office until next week", called and spoke to David H., supervisor of reservations...refuses to refund our money. I then called and left a message for Anthony R. another supervisor...no response yet, all done today, 11/15/07 to say no dogs! Right now I am so mad, because they will not refund my money, and we had turned doen a family get together this weekend up North!
We were supposed to drive the 5 hours there THIS Saturday!!! Too late for airfare North!
Please note that they called me each time and I didn't start keeping track of the names, times and dates until 11/4/07. So I suppose this is a lesson learned the hard way; * they call you lots and lots of times * they are quick to charge you and promise you anything for the sale * when they promise to return your calls, they don't
At this point I am so sick of them and wish I had never agreed to go visit their resorts in the first place. In my conversations with the individuals from each different department, it is clear that there is no communication in their organization.
We do own another timeshare and enjoy it, so we thought we'd go and see them, but I am so angry now that they couldn't sell me a sandwich!!!
