It's hard to imagine that the new RedWeek business plan is going to work for them. If they just charged the $99 when rented and not the $49 or $59 up-front fee, it might work, but the new RedWeek model requiring both an up-front fee and a $99 fee upon completion is difficult to accept.
It does appear that RedWeek is investing more in making their rental service more visible in Google search results, so there may be a greater volume of prospective renters. However, even if that is the case, the increased visibility would not make RedWeek competitive with TUG or KOALA--both of which offer better listing plans.
After using RedWeek for several years as my go-to listing service, in the future I will use RedWeek only if the other listing services are not successful.
