You can buy Bluegreen points on the resale market for much cheaper than from Bluegreen. Actually you're lucky that you don't have to go through the agony of a timeshare presentation. However, I would insist that Bluegreen return your money. Go to the very highest echelon of Bluegreen's management (not necessarily where you bought the package, but Bluegreen Corp. itself) and express your complaint including your proof above and don't take no for an answer. Also if you paid by credit card, dispute the charge with your credit card company.
You need to start thinking of your pet as a cigarette. Don't take this the wrong way but as a non pet owner the last thing I want is to set on furnishings that fido has been licking himself on or slobbering all over. Its just as repulsive as being in a room with a smoker when your a non smoker. When I was younger I worked at a hotel in housekeeping. Other than a little light cleaning each day, most hotels can't afford the extensive cleaning that a room would require for pets. Loose hair in a room is a big guest complaint(human or otherwise). For some reason animal hair is like velcro its very difficult to vaccum up. That is why some hotels have a special section of rooms just for individuals with your needs. They generally cost more. However in the future. Get it in writing, and you can refuse payment on your charge card regardless. cindy in wisconsin
