Everything you said about this company indicates that it's a scam. They contacted you out of the blue even though you didn't have it listed. Corporations do not buy timeshares or club memberships for tax write offs.
They say no upfront fees but their tactic here is that they will lyingly tell you that they have found a buyer and that everything is in place. The catch is that, once you are fantasizing about what you will do with all that money, they hit you with, "Oh, we just need you to pay such-and-such a tax/fee to complete the sale and transfer, and the Mexican government requires that you, the seller, pay this before we can release the funds to you."
