Actually, it would be my wish that smoking even on balconies would be eliminated at all resorts, since smoke can irritate those units on either side of the balcony, below and above, especially if the neighbors are sitting on their balconies or have their balcony doors open. I have heard complaints of such many times on the various timeshare forums I read. << =================================================

I stayed at a Key West timeshare resort this past year which actually bans smoking ANYWHERE on the ENTIRE property. That was just fine with me --- I personally despise the inevitable stench and after-aroma of cigarette smoke.

Well said and I agree wholeheartedly. Smokers should NEVER be allowed to stink up a timeshare unit for the other 50 weekly occupants who don't want to feel like they are living in an ash tray...
