I am reading all of this and I sure wish I would have read all of this before buying. I was in NYC several weeks ago, and we bought a bienneial odd year ownership. They asked for 10% and then changed it to 15 % down. While we were there we expressed how much we wanted to be there for last week of December. (The Sales person, Stella Levine) raved how fun that would be and told us all the wonderful things to get us to buy in. She took us to a man named Brian Zimmerman and told us he would put the reservations in and he placed on his computer calendar the last week of December of 2011 as first choice, the week of thanksgiving of 2011, and a week in october of 2011 as third choice. He was to call us back. We have called and emailed, no response. We called Stella and she answered and said she would help us and also deposit 50,000 points as promised while we were there. I have yet to see the points. What is so upsetting is I have been emailing her and because she said she would take care of reservations gave her the week for December. Instead of emailing back, she called my husband who was at work, and told him that week had some blackout dates. What??? She never mentioned that days in New years week was blackout, we were told we could have anyime as long as it was available 365 days a year. She sat there and marveled on how wonderful that we could stay there for New Years and never mentioned black out dates, not did Brian when he placed them in his calendar on the computer. So we have been reading all our paperwork that we signed and don't see anything about blackout dates. Does anyone know anything about this????? Also we have emailed Inside Edition to do an investigation. It seems they really need to investigate after reading all these complaints. They are trying to sell more weeks that they can accomodate, that is just plan unethical, people will never be able to find a week to stay even moreseo the week they desire to stay...........We are consulting an attorney and see what we can do about all this.
