Wonderful to hear and thanks for sharing. I am trying to rent my Ko Olina units. What was key to the smooth transaction? What worked and what could have been better (if anything). Did you transact through an escrow service? Was there a rental contract? Did the owners request a refundable security deposit and/or how did they get comfortable about owner's liability for potential damages? How far in advance did you book the unit?

What was key to your decision in renting that particular unit from that particular owner? Did you rent for the listed rate or was it further negotiated?

Thanks for any insights you would be willing to share. I may not be successful in renting my units this year, but I'd like to handle the whole listing process better next time.
