Westgate has a long-established (and frequently expressed) reputation among Westgate owners and users as being a sleazy, underhanded and entirely untrustworthy company. Westgate CEO David Siegel's personal bankruptcy certainly hasn't done much to improve the tarnished Westgate image either...

In my personal opinion, Westgate is "the worst of the worst". Celebrity Resorts (reinvented as "Legacy Vacation Club" after the Celebrity Resorts bankruptcy proceedings of a few years ago) has a solid lock on second place, but they'll never catch Westgate for #1.

Just my own personal opinion...
