At one time, I had 3 timeshares, only because french quarter staff said that they could sell the other two timeshares if we purchaed at french quarter. Now, french quarter is bankrupt at branson, and cannot be sold right now. it seems at thought the Mo. attorney general does not really care about this issue. I have for the 1st time listed westgate and also surrey grand crowne on red week. I have had 3 replies on the westgate property. the first two were just checking and finally the 3rd one was really an interested BUYER.. Yes I listed westgate for $250. no, I did not recoup my intested, however, I did not need 3 timeshares. Now, good old Wesrgate decided they would buy it back for $250, However, they took 45 days to have the paper work, in, and too late, since they only had 30 days for this 1st right. It took about a month, and help from BBB, (they were really on the ball on this casel}, and finally after calling the corporate office 3 times one morning, they advised, OK, we will refuse our 1st right to purchase. So, even after the timeshare is to be sold, the owners still attempt to "mess up" the process. by the way, westgate is listed in AAA book, so why be an owner?? bottom line, I don't trust any one connected to a timeshare transaction.
