Kookie - Have you tried to exchange your weeks this year? They cannot be deposited with RCI or II and Land'Or has been removed from the Armed Forces travel site. I believe the only way to exchange at this time is through Club Land'Or's Flex Plan - which is again, more money to them and has limited availability of exchange locations. In talking with others, some have been pleased and others displeased with exchanges. I don't know how RCI determines the exchanges that can be made for those with Land'Or memberships; however, I have had less than satisfactory experience - the last place I reserved for my brother and family who came to town for a graduation was truly an embarrassment. The shower curtain had mold on it. There was one burner in the "kitchen" area which consisted of a stove top in a walkway to the bedroom and the burner didn't work. This wasn't a last minute exchange, because I requested it about 8 months in advance - supposedly to be able for a chance of getting a better location! Another place in FL was only sightly better. Only one good exchange for my parents to Myrtle Beach but that was quite a few years ago and was in FEB (definitely off season). I have been on at least five trips with friends who have memberships with other organizations and exchanged locations - the accommodations were 100% better than my experience with Land'Or exchanges!
