interesting comments from 'customer service'. when i was considering placing my timeshare with this company, i went online, got a few names of 'satisfied customers and contacted them via email. (searched out their home information on my own, company didn't supply info). The two folks i talked two from two different ads stated that this company did nothing for them. They eventually sold the properties on their own, notified ACE and BINGO, ACE takes the ball and runs with it. They both agreed that ACE did not a thing to help them with the sales. moorz

This is false. Do to the privacy policy Ace Timeshare, Inc. does not give clients information, either name or telephone number.

If not a broker, any fee taken after the sale is considered a commission and is illegal! Licensed resale companies are not parasites! Do your homework; check out the company you do business with! Ace Timeshare Inc. has an outstanding marketing strategy and is discussed in great detail with all clients prior to their decision to enlist our services. After the client speaks with their representative the client is then sent thru a verification process, which is verification of clients contact information and explanation of all terms and guarantees. Ace Timeshare, Inc. always sends the contracts for clients review and signature.

Stop giving false information, anyone can look up this domain name, registrar, and server info and find out what you stated is false!

Any fee taken before a sale is an outright scam, period. A true licensed real estate broker gets his/her commission after a sale and it's the norm. Why would you think commission after a sale is illegal ??????

We're not idiots here .... most of us have sold a house via a licensed real estate broker.

I was approached by Ace Timeshare & was investigating them when I read your comments. Could you tell me the name of the timeshare company your dealing with in Hawaii? Sincerely, Tammy Nordgren

I am glad you had nice time dealing with this company!

I went to the site you recommended and first thing I found was they do not update very well.

Seems their prices in todays market are very high even for resale. Their last satisfied customer as posted on their site was back in Nov 2007. They quote Suze Orman on Costco Connection who ever they are all the way back in March 2003 as recommending this is good time to buy resale, only six years old!

Orman is on Cnn many nights and has her own show on Cnbc and has many times made the comment that a timeshare of any kind is a waste of money at this time.

You seem to be happy with your dealings but any company this far behind would scare me off!

I can't fathom in my wildest dreams Suze Orman suggesting that anyone buy a timeshare.

Next time you decide to trash talk a company, do your research... because if you had done you research you would know that timeshares are luxury items and not real-estate, there for because Ace Timeshare And No One there are real-estate brokers, it is illeagl to get a commission from the sale. The 200% money back guarantee is stated VERY CLEARLY in the contracts, and their standings with the BBB is outstanding.

NEVER EVER PAY ANY COMPANY AN UPFRONT FEE IN THE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS TO LIST YOUR TIMESHARE IN A DATABASE THAT NOBODY WILL EVER SEE ... THEY'RE ALL SCAMS, PERIOD. ALL THEY WANT IS THE UPFRONT FEE.

I have never seen any verified evidence of an upfront fee company standing by any contract offering a money back guarantee in the many years that I have been reading timeshare forums on the internet.

I just got a call from these creeps - gave me the BIG sell - first told me that he had people wanting my timeshare RIGHT NOW - then asked how much I wanted for it - I gave him a price and he said "oh they are willing to buy it for at least $1,500 more" - then gave me the bit about having a closing in two weeks, would send me a check, etc. - then the hook - I could put the fee of $365 on my credit card and they could get the contracts drawn up right away. I told him no thanks, if he sold it then I would give him a $365 finders fee but until I had a contract in hand he was getting nothing. His response "Well I am sorry we wasted each others time" - I guess if he REALLY had a buyer he would have been happy to do business.

Their rating with the BBB is B-, not bad but they have had 14 complaints.

Oddly enough I got a call 2 nights ago from none other than ACE timeshare asking me if I would like to sell my timeshare. They didn't give me their company name right off the bat so we went through the same old stuff that all these companies do and as they did in the past how they have buyers that are interested in buying my property. I was told how they were sure they could get me at least $12,000 for it. They asked who it was that I was doing business with that has not been able to sell it (for the now reduced price of $10,000 down from the original $14,495 that they were sure they could get me) When I told them ACE Timeshare you should have seen them back pedaling saying how nothing is guaranteed and the recession has really screwed things up. I find it funny how they called and didn't even know that they had already suckered me 2 years ago. Also, they state they don't have a complaint on file that hasn't been resolved and this again is untrue because I still have my complaint on file with the Florida BBB and I have stated in the complaint that the only way I will be satisfied at this point is to give me a full refund of the bogus advertising fees of $941. That obviously won't happen so my complaint will stay on file.

I had a successful experience with one of their agents Don. He handled everything very smoothly and curtiously for us,so I don't know I think with any company these days one can find fault with but they came through for me in a timely manner. I'm OK with them...

By all means, tell the details of your alleged "successful experience".

(That's just my polite way of saying that I believe your post is pure, unadulterated, shill BS). Prove me wrong with some actual FACTS! "Ace" indeed....

In 26+ years of timeshare ownership and experience, I have never even heard of anything called "Ace Timeshares". Ace Hardware, maybe --- but certainly not "Ace Timeshares". Please.....
