Has anyone had any dealings with Ace Timeshare, Inc out of Pinellas Park Florida. Received a cold call from these folks last week advising they are not the other guys that rip you off and get the job done. They offer a 200% money back guarantee. What a bunch of CRAP. He offered $602.00 one time fee, but I said no, then he reduced the price down to $349.00. I know, never pay up front for any listing, but wanted some extra input.

Thanks,

Bruce

You've already come to the inevitable and correct conclusion --- the claim (and the company) is CRAP!

Upfront fee parasites (this one, and all others like them) do NOT sell timeshares. What they sell is overpriced (and completely ineffective) advertising to desperate would-be sellers. These would-be sellers can effectively advertise (and sell) their own timeshares at a tiny fraction of the upfront fee parasite cost. Yet somehow, the parasites live on and new ones spring forth --- this name is a brand new one to me. "Ace" indeed....

I am so "gun shy" anymore, that I think everyone is out to get me. Leason learned....Do not ever buy a freakin time share. They are fun when you get to use them, but with Silverleaf you never get the extra time they promised.

[got caught up in this company at one time. they lowered their fee to the $349 and made oh so many promises. however, i never signed their contract. legally they had to return my money because of this factor. they tried to say i made the commitment over the phone and that was legally binding but it's not. until you sign the contract you can be refunded.

anyone dealt with this company. they're telling us they'll pay us for our timeshare. with a reduction of the worth i'm sure. just wondering what to expect before we meet with them this weekend.

they're out of georgia and 'are not an appraisal or listing company. we will make you an offer on your timeshare".

we'll see!!!

capri1 states in part: >>They're telling us they'll pay us for our timeshare. ....... Just wondering what to expect before we meet with them this weekend.<< ===============================================

Search here for "PostCard Companies" and read, read, read. You'll soon learn all you need to know.

The short version is that they are NOT going to pay you a dime for your timeshare. On the contrary, they are going to want YOU to pay THEM somewhere between $2500 --$3500 to "take your timeshare off your hands". If that might interest you, then I can only wish you well...

ACE Timeshare had my unit listed for 2 years! The agent seemed very nice but I cant help wondering if that was because she wanted $600.00

She dropped the price to around $349.00 (I dont recall the exact figure) and as soon as I gave my CC#, everything froze. No phone calls, NOTHING! I have had to call repeatedly to keep droppingthe price. They even said they'll put it in a special section. Big Deal. Its been there for another year!

Sure the unit is listed but so are thousands of others. No photo in the list of thousands of units. I was told it would "Easily sell for $9,000." Its now sitting there at $4000.00 after 2 Years.

Stay away from Ace. Stay away from all of them as far as I'm concerned. Oh and especially the people who send postcards stating "same day offers". I can't recall the name of the company but it turns out the offer you get the day you show up... is an offer FOR YOU TO PAY THEM!!! They're nothing more than a listing company like ACE. I'm donating the week to charity and leaving this madness behind. PLEASE do yourself a favor and research any company you are considering! You won't believe what you'll find. Good Luck!

They cold called me also and told me they had a buyer waiting(yea, right). I think they are just a scam. The one thing I didn't like is they had no physical address, just a PO Box. A guarantee is only as good as the company. Robert

2112 is album by the Canadian rock band Rush....knew all that headbanging music in the 70's would pay off one day.

One of your representatives contacted me regarding the sale of my timeshare here in Mexico. Her name is Celeste Black. I need more information regarding the sale because I do not want to be dupped by a timeshare representative like others who stated that they were going to sell my other timeshares. She wanted a deposit to process the sale of my time share only if I made a deposit of $998 to begin the process with the bank. I need to verify this information. Please respond to my at carlyse34@yahoo.com.mx.

All they want is your upfront fee, period. You'll never hear from her again once you give her your credit card number.

Re: >> A guarantee is only as good as the company. << ==============================================

More accurately, a "guarantee" doesn't even exist AT ALL until and unless it is clearly expressed in writing and under company authorized signature. These assorted upfront fee parasites never provide any such thing. They provide only empty verbal assurances and meaningless promises which, in the eyes of the law, mean *ABSOLUTELY NOTHING*.

If it's not in writing, it simply doesn't exist. I long for the day when all consumers understand, absorb and practice that fact for their own protection....

Thank you very much for the efficient manner in which you sold our timeshare. After a previous bad experience with a "so-called expert" selling timeshares, we were very reluctant to pay in advance for someone else to try to sell it. We were very much surprised to receive a call, and an offer, the second day after you listed it online(for 12k and we were asking13K). We liked the way your representative put us on a three way call to deal directly with the buyer. The completed transaction was handled in a most efficient and pleasant manner. We shall be happy to recommend ACE TIMESHARE to buy or sell timeshare. Also I seen some neg things about this company on here and I think it's nuts. If you are trying to get what the resort us asking don't be mad at no one but yourself. You have to be willing to be negotiable.

I had a cold call almost 2 years ago with an approach of 'how would you like to have $14,450 in your bank account by the end of this year? We can do it for you!" It's been almost 2 years and only 1 offer of $2,000 dollars. After my 'advertising' fee of $941 that would mean I would get $1059. I have written the BBB of Florida but their rebuttal was that the clients dictate their price (which I did not, they did) Bottom line is lesson learned. I am now dealing with a resale company in Hawaii that will charge when they are able to sell. As it should be.

And the above is how they get away with it. They tell you they can get an enormous price for your timeshare when it's all lies, but to the uneducated prospective client it sounds so good (note: if something sounds too good to be true then in 99.9% of cases it is).

Ace Timeshare, Inc. is an advertising company that advertises timeshares and campgrounds for sale and/or rent by the owner and is not a Real Estate company or a broker. We do not give appraisals, current market pricing or a time frame in which we can sell and/or rent the property. We rely on our telemarketing professionals, search engines, and renters looking to buy. All inquires are handled in office with any offer being directed the client for approval. Ace Timeshare, Inc. does not dictate the resale market and cannot be held liable for the price the client decides to sell/rent their property. During verification we ask all clients to contact the office every 90 days for an update and also let them know we only contact them when we have an offer on their property. When contacted by our clients for an update, we will compare pricing and encourage them to reduce the price for a quicker sale/rental if at all possible. We are very motivated to sell/rent all of our inventory as quickly as possible!

Here are a few testimonials....

Customer Service:

Please let Teresa's employer know that we are very pleased with the cordial help that Teresa gave throughout the whole process of selling our timeshare. She made sure that all our questions were answered and if we had any, she was willing to go the extra mile for us. She even let us know that our process was completed. We feel Teresa is a very valuable employee and will recommend your business to others if they need to sell or buy any timeshares. Due to Teresa, this was a very easy and pleasant transfer. Thank you. Regina and Marlin K.

Hi to all of you at Ace Timeshare, Just wanted to drop a note to let you know how very satisfied I am for selling my Manhattan Club Timeshare. Everyone I spoke to at your company was very polite, professional and treated me as I was your only customer. Through your efforts, I received an excellent offer for my timeshare. Had a very quick closing, which was also handled in a very professional manner. I have since listed two more of my timeshares with "Ace" and I feel confident that I'll receive an offer to my liking and look forward to another fast sale. Thank you, thank you, thank you. With warm regards, Clark S.

Dear Sirs, I wanted to send a quick note on my experience with Ace Timeshare on the rental of my property. I had been dealing with a young lady by the name of Raina, who handled everything. She was very professional, as well as thourough. She made the whole transaction very easy, which is what I was looking for. Thank You Ace Timeshare--I look forward to doing more business with you in the future.. William R. F. Leawood, Ks.

To the Staff at Ace Time Share Sales Want to thank all the members of the Staff for the great job of selling one of our weeks at the Marriott in Kauai. Once a buy was found, I actually did the negotiating with the prospect, and came to acceptable price. Then the handoff to the closing agent was quick and smooth. We were so pleased, we listed another of our Marriott Kauai weeks for sale. Thanks Again Tom and Marla K.

I want to thank your staff especially Rayna on the rental of my time share in Florida. I have tried other time share rentals with no success. Again thank you and hope you all have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. William P.

To whom this may concern, I want to thank the staff at Ace Time Share with their help in finding and securing my recent conversation of a 3 bedroom deluxe at Fairfield resort in Daytona. I am a member and owner at Daytona Fairfield and was unable to upgrade my "bike week" reservations to accommodate the added friends and family going with us. For what I believe to be a fair price for bike week, I can now enjoy the trip with everyone there. A extra thanks to Rachael, who proved to me that Ace time share is not a scam company, but a company that in the business to make the buyer and seller happy. I have been taken for $600.00 in the passed by a time share trading or listing company, so I was a very leery consumer. Great job and very professional Thanks again Scott A. Woodbridge, VA

Ace Time Share Staff: Per your request, I am sending you this e-mail regarding my time share. I would like to commend the staff of Ace Time Share for the professional manner in which they handled the rental of my Ocean Walk , Daytona FL timeshare for the week of March 4th to 11th 2007. It has been a pleasure working with you on this rental. I especially appreciate your procedure to ensure my privacy and that of the renters by having all the transactions go through your office, rather than directly between the owner and the renter. Yours Truly, Marie M.

I signed with Ace on Jan 31st and in 2 days had an offer to rent my time-share, which I accepted. I was very satisfied with Shawn and Ace's service. C. D. Kneeskern Preston MN
