Resort management has changed from Southwind to the Colonnade
Just saw on another timeshare board that both Colonnade and Grand Regency have been shut down. The owner/manager was arrested late last month for contempt of court in failure to appear for civil cases that the lenders have filed. I believe the attempted bankruptcies were dismissed because there was fraud (Grewal pocketing income from the properties and not paying the debtors). Can't bankrupt our of criminal activity like that. No telling what will happen next, but both properties are in pretty sad shape these days.

I have been in contact with Donna. I told her that I knew of the problems and asked if it was possible to bank my 2017 week with II. She told me no it could not be banked which I knew but wanted her to confirm. We do have a week confirmed starting 10/28. We own at GR but she said we would be staying at Colonade. I had asked about the first or second week in November and she said they were booked because of Veteran's week. Will let everyone know when we get back what we find. Barbara

This seems to be different than a prior post that the Colonnade is shut down. More info? Also I will be in Branson during the 1st week of Nov. at a different location. I plan to stop by to see what it looks like - to see if anything changed or improved. I will be interested if the Colonnade is booked, how many rooms are in use. In April, it appeared that only 10 or less of the 90+ rooms were usable. Jim

Has anyone started a "Class Action" law suit? If so could you let me know who to contact to be added as we are Grand Regency TS owners and what we saw last October I was afraid things were going down the drain. My email: exitjames@gmail.com Any other information would also be appreciated.

We still own a three bedroom lockout at the Grand Regency. I talked to a lady at the Colonnade a few weeks again.
From what she told me, things are in the court system and a new management company has taken over. As things get settled, the owners will get letters explaining the situation.
This is long overdue! I have hopes that when all is said and done, we will have one of the best timeshares in Branson! Keep me posted>>>gloriajayne1957@gmail.com

I posted that we had reservations for 10/28 but we changed our week to 12/8. Donna said that we would be staying at Grand Regency. Donna has been very helpful, she arranged for us to have a Friday start to the week. I have not seen any mail from them concerning the bankruptcy. Will let you know what we find in December. Barbara

We will be in Branson Mo for Veterans week. We had been told that there would be a meeting for Grand Regency Nov 4, 2017. But today I found out that that was canceled due to foreclosure. The meeting may be rescheduled for December. While in Branson we will be meeting with Dona or Doug to ask more questions. Also the see the condition of Grand Regency. Still we cannot bank our week with Interval International. Due to all these problems. I have said this many times but will repeat This has been a Nightmare and it continues. Please be careful if they ask for more money unless you check completely. I will report here what we find while we are in Branson. Sincerely, Carol H

We also are owners at Grand Regency Resorts and would like to be kept in the loop about what's going on. We have paid 2017 Maintenance Fees yet not allowed to deposit weeks. We cant bank with II anymore. We have not heard anything from management and have learned most of what we know from this site and the Internet. Thanks to all of you for sharing your research and insight. Lets stay in touch.

I stopped by this weekend and the Grand Regency is closed pending the outcome of bankruptcy court. I was informed by one the employees at the Colonade that the next court date is Nov 22, 2017. It is possible that there may be some actions in 2018 but the Grand Regency is closed and needs much repair. I was also told that the 2017 maintance fees were should never have been collected (heck the place was never even open for business in 2017) and the courts should . be contacting timeshare owners when (and if) assests are ever sold. When I was at the Colonade to check on status, their cable has been shut office and they only have 3 employees left to try and keep the property somewhat useable in the future.
I don't know about you but I have contacted the state Attorney Generals office and filed a complaint, for the 3 weeks of unavailable and uneligible trade useage from the property.
I am not holding my breath, my only fear is the potential long-term maintance fees I could be force to pay if the new owners file lawsuits for none payment. This property is a mess and has no true value left to us owners.

We were not able to attend the owner's meeting in April. We have been complaining to the owner and managers for over 2 years now about the extremely poor condition of the Colonnade Resort. We are owners there and I believe that now is the time to file a Class Action Law Suite against them. We all had to pay an additional maintenance fee with the promise that they would have the remodeling done by April. That did not happen and they took OUR money and simply Stole it!
When are we going to stop letting these people rip us off year-after-year?

We have got to do something and now is the time to do so. I want out of my deed and I do not want to keep wasting my money on this dump! We need to figure out how those of us who want out can do so legally. We need to think about filing a Class Action law suit against them.
