Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

I agree with Ken. The majority of culprits are the big corporate names. I got rid of two of them back in 2011 through deed backs. I own one in Las Vegas right next to Bellagio on the Las Vegas strip. It is one of the best kept secrets in the industry. I own a week . I just called them last week to reserve a week in September . Within ten minutes I had a confirmation email and I was able to book my flights.

Like Ken stated it's a small independently owned timeshare run by elected members who devote their time and efforts to run it efficiently. Not only do they keep the maintenance fees low but they bill us quarterly so we don't get hit with a large bill once a year. I can't say enough about the quality of the timeshare . They keep on top of the maintenance and I have never had a complaint with them .

There aren't that many of them left and I feel very fortunate that I found this gem . I only use it to stay at that location and never trade it for another . I always let them know how grateful I am for their time and efforts to keep it that way .

Yes Ken, You are correct, It is TMC in NYC that I speak of and to make it worse it is one of those "less desirable flavors" that you mentioned. In fact I do not own a "specific week" but have 7 days scattered over 3 years that they may or may not be able to accommodate when requested depending on the desirability of that season or time of year. Thank you for listening and commenting . I've not much more to say until there is an end to the NYS AG's investigation which seems to be dragging on endlessly.

How do you do timeshare "cancellations"? You can't "cancel" a timeshare. It is deeded property. It's like saying we can cancel your house or your car. A timeshare can't be cancelled like a credit card or cable service.

I assume what you mean is that you help owners find another owner for their timeshare.

ANOTHER shill for ANOTHER useless upfront fee "escape / relief / exit / rescue" operation? Maybe saram280 with a new user name? A different copycat operation offering non-existent "escape assistance" (...for upfront money, of course)?

Lance is correct; there is simply no such thing as a "legitimate timeshare cancellation". I am pleased to see that the posts of the (...most recent) person "peddling" this alleged "service" have (appropriately) been removed by RedWeek forum moderators.
