Mar 27, 2018

Just a note once again, Call the Missouri Attorney General office/ Springfield Better Business Bureau/ Federal Trade Commission/ and the Branson Mayors office. The more phone calls will hopefully put pressure on the matter. If anyone is in Branson maybe visit or call the Springfield TV Station KY3/ Fox 5 KRBK and the Springfield news paper -Leader . Again leave your email address is possible. Thank-you, Carol Holmes

The people supposedly appointed as interim management have updated the www.colonnade-grandregency.com site and added yet ANOTHER management company taking over.

Information: We will update this site as information becomes available. As of 5/22/2018 Good Management has taken over as main contact for these properties. Future inquiries should be addressed to them at 757-349-7076 or dale@goodmanagement.com

I'm just going to venture a wild guess that these guys are going to want $$ as well! Maybe we can get a new management fee to take over every quarter and have them all send MF invoices. Whether we've paid or not. Seems to be the trend.

Bought a one week time share at Colonnade about 15 to 20 years ago. Up until a few years ago, everything went well. Pool was OK, furniture was in good shape, amenities were adequate. Received MF in December, 2017, and paid it. The last time we were there was Thanksgiving, 2017 and the place was a mess. No cable or Wi Fi and the furniture was in really bad shape. I had no reason reason to think our MF would not be applied to maintain or upgrade the unit, as the letter from Missouri Association Management LLC indicated. April of this year I sent reservation request for Memorial Day weekend. I had always received a confirmation E mail previously but not this time, So I called, no answer but left a message. Never received any communication from the Colonnade. Contacted BBB and Branson Tourism. Neither could offer any help and had no idea who to contact. My daughter called the Plaza hotel across the street and was told by the front desk there that the Colonnade was closed and being gutted. We were totally taken by surprised and shocked that we had not received any notice of this, what so ever. So upset. What if I had not called to confirm?? Will contact Good Mgmt, MO AG, etc.

I recommend you call the Branson Mayor’s office. They have had problems also, and are watching the situation.

Visited Branson to check out Grand Regency. Don't bother. It is closed and in bad shape. TVs piled up in the parking lot and doors are open with locks and door knobs broken off. Lot of units are in bad shape. Unless something is done soon place will be totally junk. I was told the guy is in prison. It is hard to get a straight answer about whats happening or about the future. I have picture but don't know how to post. Monroe

Sounds like maybe it’s being gutted so it can be redone. Let’s all cross our fingers and hope for the best! Gloria

Not being gutted. No work being done, Looks like they stopped. Maybe did not have a permit. Management company has changed again. How can this happen when they were court ordered. I think these are like collection agencies. They sell to someone else to try to collect fees. Unless a new investment company is found there is no chance a renovation will happen. Do not send money. If you need to throw some money away ,sent it to me.LOL

I have received a couple of phone messages from someone named Steve requesting I call him regarding MF. I have not called him back. I am fed up with this mess. They will get no more money from me. If we all stick together and not give in regardless of any threats received. We can make this go away.

I am not sending any money to Grand Regency - - after being lied to about "sell back" and sending the requested money to sell back only to get stiffed, I am totally through with the money pit. Not another cent coming from me. Grand Regency or Colonade owes me my 2250.00 I sent to sell my unit share back to Grand Regency/Colonade - - Haven't heard a thing then about 3 months ago another bill arrives for Maintenance fees. I will never never be back to Branson, such corruption being allowed by the Better Business Bureau of Branson or whatever it is called left me - - all of us totally out in the dark. Yes, someone did cash my check for 2250.00. Roberth

I just talked to Good Management. They are working on things, tv’s are gone from parking lot, some pipes are being replaced, security is living on site. In a few weeks letters will be going out to owners in regards to what is being done and plans for an owners’ meeting. This company specializes in timeshares, so I have hope that everything is set to come together if we hang in there. The website has been updated, so rather than calling, check out the website.

Too little too late as far as I'm concerned as hanging in there is not an option for us. Once Good Management finishes all the repairs, I'm sure they'll come back to us with an assessment to pay for everything that was done to get the property back to normal. Plus, how long will it take to get back on the timeshare exchange networks like RCI?

I was there the week of May 21-25 and went by both Grand Regency and the Colannade and both were completely deserted with no sign of life. The Colannade did have a sign on the door to with a phone # to call if assistance was needed. Grand Regency still had tvs piled up in the parking lot and looked run down with plywood over the doors. I will not send them any money until the Grand Regency is completely open and back on II and able to be deposited for trade and I would suggest all other owners do the same thing. I believe I am owed several hundred dollars since most of my "fees" went in someone's pocket instead of into the property for several years. I bought in 2002 and have never seen evidence of "updates" at the Grand Regency. I have been thru several owners and management companies for the property and no one as been responsible. I have contacted the Attorney General, BBB, and everyone other office recommended on this site and no one has responded so I have no hope of anything ever changing there. The Spinnaker group sold us this property and soon dumped out of it and passed it to the son that squandered it and spent most of the original money put into the property. I'm not sure why there is nothing that can be done since money was embezzled unless this is just the "timeshare" lifestyle. Good luck to those of you that think things will get better.

I am out also - - I sent in my maintenance fees as requested over the yrs, even paid the "buy back option" of $2250.00 and Nothing - - nothing was sent back referring to "deed back" however the check was cashed. I will never visit Branson again and as far as Grand Regency - - they owe me and all of us owners a lot of money. Considerable corruption here and if Spinnaker was involved or whoever we have been stolen from - - stolen from big time. I am out RobertH

It will take several million to bring Grand Regency ,back, but if you consider in round figures at a thousand dollar fee x 54 units x 52 weeks= 2,808000. With a 500,000 yearly budget leaves a lot left over for repairs. Not going to happen . Lies to get a few more $1000 in fees at no cost. These are not at all true figures just examples.

Received a letter from The Goodmanagement Team today. it informed me that all owners had been mailed a notice last December from the Circuit court about a receiver. I never received a single communication from anyone. Per this letter, a meeting for Colonnade timeshare owners will be held at 2:00 PM. Wednesday, July 25 at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn located 403 West Main St, Branson MO. A web conference link to view and participate is available. . Call owner services at 866.875.1383 or email to branson@goodmanagement for instructions. If you would like to pay your 2018 MF, you can call that number. Doesn't say how much, of course. I paid 2017 MF and was not able to use my timeshare. Why would anyone pay with no guarantee of future opening??? Did anyone else get this letter? If they really wanted owners to show up, the meeting should be on a weekend, Perhaps they are afraid of owners showing up with tar and feathers.

Received exactly the same letter from "Goodmanagement" Newport News, Virginia today June 25. Of course, they expect me to pay a "maintenance fee" on the property that I paid an enormous amount to "deed back" which only resulted in my check being cashed by ??someone?? in Branson and no "deed back" no money back and no response from anyone. Furthermore, the content of the

letter appeared to be attempting to convince me that the property was being readied for opening and repairs were underway. Also indicated that "good management" has a very positive relationship with RCI

I will never send anymore money to this "moneypit from hell".

We also received the letter yesterday. We own at Grand Regency and our meeting is at 10am. We are planning on going and will stay for the 2pm meeting if allowed. I would suggest if you are making the trip you might want to try to come at 10am also. Barbara

We have been owners at Grand Regency since 2002. I can tell you this is another attempt to collect money from owners that result in more frustration. We have been through numerous owners and "management companies", none of which have done anything to improve the situation. We have not received any communication from anyone, so that tells me that these people do not have correct information. I'm guessing they send out info to the people who keep sending them maintenance fees and whatever else they ask for. I urge all of you to stop paying anyone any money that has to do with either of these properties. If anything, the owners should have an independent meeting, possible with and attorney, or the Branson Chamber, or someone that might be able do some good, although I've made several attempts and files complaints and no one has been interested thus far. If the new management company is making threats if you don't pay, I would urge them to file a law suit. Our contract has been broken numerous times and I'd love to get in front of a judge and tell of this nightmare.
