How far/close to San Diego or LA airport?

Orange County airport is about 20 minutes away.

SAN is really too far to drive, IMO, unless one is stopping along the way for sightseeing/vacation destinations. LAX is about an hour away in light traffic. SNA is 15-20 minutes from the resort. ONT and LGB (Ontario and Long Beach) are possible too, less of a drive than SAN but more than LAX.

We own at NCV and have flown out of SNA a number of times. The airport operations hours are limited due to noise restrictions, so there isn't the flexible flight schedule as with the other area airports.

Orange County (SNA) is the closest, ~ 15 mins max.

Long Beach (LGB) is the 2nd closest, ~ 35 mins away.

Los Angeles (LAX) is the 3rd closest, ~ 1 hr away.

San Diego (SAN) is the 4th closest by distance, but time-wise is about the same as LAX.
