Resale companies that charge NO UPFRONT FEES

Apr 17, 2007

www.timesharesales.net

charges no upfront fee to sell your timeshare. They do charge a $1500 flat fee IF they sell your timeshare (no matter the selling price) or a 15% percentage of anything over a $10,000 'sold' price.

If anyone knows of other NO UPFRONT FEE RESALE COMPANIES, please list them here with the commission criteria included.

At least companies like the one above have to actually work to sell your timeshare even though their commission is rather steep.

www.atimeshare.com

charges the same as the website above ($1500 flat fee if they sell or 15% commission on anything sold over $10,000).

They do not list what their commission is for selling Disney (on site) timeshares.

In performing research via google titled 'no upfront fee timeshare resale companies' I came across many such companies that claim they charge no upfront fee, however most do not relate on their websites what their commission is for selling or listing your timeshare.

Beware of such companies and read the fine print before listing with any company that does not relate what their commission is on their websites.

--------- Has anyone dealt with Timeshare Resales Worldwide (www.alltimeshare.com). They also state "no upfront fees".

I haven't checked their webpage, but I'd be leery of any website that doesn't list their commission fees. Some evidently want to leave you in the dark to get you on the phone to start their 'selling spiel' to get you to sign up with them.

There is one particular 'no upfront fee resale company' that blatantly states on their website that they charge no upfront fee and when you get in touch with them they say they do charge an upfront marketing fee.

That's out and out false advertising.

The particular company above that I was referring to was discussed, with one of it's employees, in the NEVER PAY AN UPFRONT FEE TO SELL YOU TIMESHARE forum here. They state on their webpage that they do not they charge an upfront fee, but he admitted here that they do charge an upfront marketing fee in the hundred of dollars comparable to a year's maintenance fees.

----- Thanks jayjay, With this topic being discussed, at length, in so many threads, I lose track of where I find various items. Is there a method to search the threads for topic or even find all the threads by a specific user?

There currently isn't a way to search for certain topics or specific users but that is a feature we would like to add in the near future.

Thanks, Marty

Marty, a search feature would really be a plus for your members. Thanks for considering it.

Hi Jayjay,

A search feature should be coming soon. It's in the works. :-)

Thanks, Marty

---------- I saw an add for www.sellmeyourtimeshare.com in which they allegedly pay cash for your unit. I'm guessing they do not pay a lot, but if someone want to get out, it might be a cheap way to do it. Anyone have any contact with this company?

We are members of the Timeshare Xchange Multiple Listing Service www.tsxmls.com and none of the Brokers in the MLS charge an upfront fee. If they do they are kicked out. They all specialize in the resale of timeshare. Judi Kozlowski

judi, could you please tell us how much it costs to become a member of Xchange Multiple Listings and what is your percentage for selling a timeshare? I didn't see any of this information listed on your webpage. Thanks!

They do not state on their website what they charge upfront (if any) or after selling. This would be very helpful info for us.

This is in response to Mike1536 who asked about alltimeshare.com. That website seems reputable in the sense that they pnly charge a commission when your timeshare sells.

Back before I got scammed by those resale bastards (excuse my french :P) I had actually emailed the people there to ask wht my timeshare would be worth on the resale market. The guy, John, told me it would probably be worth around $4000. Since I bought my timeshare from the developer, (stupid, I know, but that was before I got pushed into the world of timeshare selling) I wanted a better price.

So then I went with a resale broker and got scammed :( Unfortunately I only found out about redweek AFTER I paid those people. :'(

btw, I was wondering, did any of you guys who got calls from ibd marketing happen to fill out a form on www. timeshare-pro.com? I'm CONVINCED that is how those companies got my information!!

They charge the same because they are the same company or a division of the company

We do not list our commission on our websites. We do not do any false advertising. Our commission is between us and the Seller.

This is a Broker only site not a public site. http://www.tsxmls.com/ It is not available for the public to join.
