Thanks for the feedback. I am new to this site so I didn't read the other posts regarding VillaTrader. Many of you must have been around for a while and some of you are pretty brutal to us newbees. I appreciate those who posted responses to my initial message without insinuating I must be naive, stupid, or even blonde! After all, I found this site to ask my question BEFORE I agreed to "list" with VillaTrader. LESSON LEARNED.

Kathiet8 I have to agree with you on this post stating stupid and blonde but it might have just been a shot at being funny,at least I hope so.

Not sure of other post your referring to because others seemed fine and maybe you are just reading to much into some of them. Remember many regular members answer same questions over and over again. It can get old when new people just to lazy to read the post will start same questions over again and again without even reading about their topic already in print.

When someone wants a answer to their question chances are it has been talked about many times on here. Many new people will jump on here and post their question and not spend few minutes reading the earlier post and probably get there question answered before writing same old things.

Most people are here to try and help but new people need to take the time to read and learn. I know the Villa subject had been almost talked to death on here last couple months and by reading the few different postings on here you would find out more than I bet you even thought about and this is good. After reading you might have a different question to ask.

Kathie, you don't have to be naive, stupid or blonde to fall for their spiel with all the lies they promise (they tell you what you want to hear).

The best thing anyone can do before they sign with these scammers is to go to the internet and do a search like they would if anything offered to them seems too good to be true. I realize that not all households have a computer hooked to the internet but all public libraries do.

Hello,

For what it's worth, go to Google and type in villa trader, go to the company website and called the phone number. The number I called twice was disconnected. Send me 2k and I will sell your unit in 90 days or more. Nuff said about that company, just don't do it.

Hey Dan, Not so fast. Phil and I were already laying claim to the 2K, but maybe we can still split it three ways...LOL.

Mike if your letting Dan in we need to ask for more money!

My share split three ways won't even cover my Keno cost for July 4th week.

It might cover my wife's slot losses though! LOL.

Phil, I don't think Obama will mind throwing a couple million our way. After all I do all the right things, I don't run up credit card debt, I didn't take out a mortgage that I cannot afford, etc. Oh, crap...I guess I won't be getting the handouts!

Hey gg72 - I'm not usually an easy sell but the VillaTrader inventory specialist (James) who I spoke with last week made the deal sound "SO" good that I had to find out what other "customers" thought about Villa Trader. The responses I received to my posting were very helpful to me and I learned a lot from the redweek forum veterans. Thanks again everyone!

A clearer definition of the VillaTrader "inventory specialist" would be: The guy pushing the wheelbarrow behind horse drawn entries in any given parade...:-)

Thanks to all of you who have posted regarding Villa Trader. I just received a call from "James" as well. He said we had spoken before, but I am quite sure the last time we spoke his name was Keith! Anyway, they have changed their "policy" as someone else noted, and supposedly take your $2000 after they have a deposit from the supposed buyer. I asked questions every which way but sideways, and these guys are good! They have an answer for everything. I just was not about to give my credit card number over the phone to someone who called me, without my initiating the exchange. I thought I would do some internet research on them, and found this site with your helpful postings.

I would like to sell my timeshare, but I guess not with them! Any legit suggestions? Thanks! Sheryl

Do not be fool by any one from Villa trader. They cannot be trusted and they are running bait and you lose your money and they win operation. I was told by one of their representative, a Mr. Cole, that he had a buyer on the phone who was putting up a deposit of 10% and they needed a fee of $2000 to finalize the sale. They said it would take 30-90 days to receive my check. Well I am still waiting. This was a painful lesson to learn. Do not do as I did and learn this lesson the hard way.
