Grand Luxxe

I have been an owner with the Mayan Palace since 1993. We upgraded to the Grand Mayan in 2003 and then to the Grand Luxxe in 2008. We own time shares in Sedona, AZ, and Hot Springs, AR, and have been in resorts all over the world. The quality of the mayan resorts is heads above anywhere we have stayed. We have kept a running total of the money we have invested in the resort and have around $68,000 in our Grand Luxxe. I also rent my weeks myself and have my own web page. I usually get $1,600 for a 2 bedroom grand Mayan unit. With the economy the way it is, I have only rented 1 of my weeks this year, but usually rent around 5 to 15 weeks per year.

Do you get a week reserved and then rent it or do you get a renter and then try to get the week they want?
