New management company taking over Pacific Shores and Spa in Parksville, Canada

I am a owner there, just wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with the company called Tading Places Management - Canada. ( is a canadian arm) Well known, they also look after many places in western United States, Mexico . They are a sister company to Interval International Exchange. They sound okay, with alot of features, but like most of them, things are not what they are. So any info to be aware of, and things to watch for would be of help. We do not have alot of choice of who takes over management, but is nice to have some heads up. At the moment our points are in RCI, and we go through RCI and limiited as most of us know for exchange. It sounds like they also offer exchanges into there other resorts., and a rental program. Time will tell when we get all the info in the mail. Thanks

Thanks Jay Jay, I can give you this info, They are owned by a US publicly - traded company named Interval Leisure Group (LG) Their web site is www.tradingplaces.com

At the monent we are waiting more information from them on what they are offering. It sounds like there could be some good benifits allong with some negatives. Time will tell, no one likes change, but sometimes it can be good.

Turns out there have been some substancal issues with the currant management people and failing to follow through on things, so the board interviewed and researched out this company Trading Places management - Canada Inc
