what is a lock out 2 bedroom unit mean?

It basically means a regular 1 bedroom unit with an attached "studio" which is separated by a door (lockable) Typically you'll find a studio having a bed (or two)/a bath along with a couch (pull out)/mini frig/microwave/coffee maker.

Not a whole lot different then a regular 2 bedroom except for the little mini kitchen and usually the pull out couch in the "studio"
