Can these points be resold after purchase in secondary market?

very good question; marriott should have very specific answer. Bottom line, once you own something, you can sell it. But check with timeshare company to confirm heir policy. If it does not make sense, contact an attorney.

Yes. They can be resold and Marriott has the right of first refusal option. When you resell the points there are limitations unless you pay Marriott's fees to take of the limitations.
