A quick question about PAYS TAXES

I'm in the process of renting my timeshare for the first time. The renter expects me to pay the General Excise Tax and he would pay the Transient Occupancy Tax. What is customary here?

What is customary, is what you agree to. You should have a rental agreement that spells it all out. I am not familiar with "general excise tax" as in renting our units I never came across it. I have seen some with the transit tax, IMO just another way for state, county to pick up extra bucks. Short answer to you question, in the rental agreement I use, the renter pays for any and all cost incurred while renting.
