Hey everyone. I'm new to this timeshare ownership game as I recently bought a Marriott Maui Ocean Club timeshare (odd weeks, deeded). I see a lot of marketing around the Bonvoy program. How do people leverage the Bonvoy program/points/status with their timeshare usage? Thanks in advance!

Basically, the Bonvoy program is Marriott's loyalty program that you get points for every time you stay at their properties. As an owner of a timeshare at Marriott Maui Ocean Club, you can earn points whenever you stay at any other Marriott properties. The trick is to use your timeshare ownership to earn your way up the status ladder in the Bonvoy program - that can give you cool stuff like free nights or upgrades. Plus, you can also score discounts and sweet deals on things like room rates and services.

@flappy bird, The Bonvoy program is Marriott's loyalty program where you earn points for every stay at their properties. You can earn points whenever you stay at any other Marriott property. Use your shared vacation ownership to earn a higher status in the Bonvoy program - which can get you cool things like free nights or upgrades.
