when is cc charged w "verified and protected" rental?

Meredith F. Oct 02, 2024

I see that the rentee receives the rental funds two days after the renter checks in. However, I am wondering when the renter's credit card is charged? Is it charged upon booking a reservation or does Redweek wait until check-in?

thanks!
