We own an equivalent of 14 weeks of timeshare at two different resorts. All RedWeek does is help us offset our dues, however with the cost of posting a rental so high I will not be using RedWeek.com anymore and want others to know about all the excessive fees involved.

$ 49.99 Add 6 months $ 99.00 Success fee $ 50.00 Resort fee ( most resorts charge a guest authorization fee) $ 50.00 eBay or CC processing fee Who is going to pay approximately $250.00 for someone else's vacation. It's no longer financially feasible to rent with RedWeek.com Renters also pay 6% on top of rental price.

People just won't be able to use RedWeek anymore. So sorry...

You have now posted this exact same observation / complaint in at least 3 different RedWeek forums. Fwiw, I provided a detailed response to the one that you posted in the General Discussion forum, if you have any interest in seeing feedback offered in response to your repetitive observations.

What forum will you be using to post your rentals and did they provide a similar booking security to their renter?

Renters have to pay more fees also. We are getting priced out or redweek . A lot of timeshares are changing parking fees. The charges for Redweek are high. We will look elsewhere for our next vacation plans.

Completely agree with you Robert. I used Red Week for many years to rent my timeshare successfully. However, the fees have become astronomical. I will no longer be using Red Week.

I am a renter and the new added on fees are forcing me to look elsewhere. Where are you renting other than RW.

Look on the TUG - Timeshare User Group website. Lots of us timeshare owners list there. You will be dealing directly with the owner - no middle man.

Totally agree....it appears now that you cannot advertise a floating weeks timeshare at all - you have to set specific use dates. I have a ton of points I need to rent as we cannot use them all ourselves anymore and they are totally flexible as to dates and number of nights in a stay - why can't I post it like that?

You also can't edit an ad (other than price) now

I'll be advertising on My Resort Network, TUG and Ebay now....may as well do Airbnb as well
