Currently staying here in October. Pools open, one heated one not, there is no kiddie pool as listed in the description but replaced with a splash pad which the kids seem to love. The 3 hot tubs replaced with a very large beautiful hot tub (patriciam321)

Just stayed here for the third time consecutively (July 29-August 6, 2022). Pools were all open, unrestricted, and well taken care of. Not sure if it wasn't open at the time of the other answer but there is a very large hot tub now (15-20 person size), palm in the center, waterfall, and full of jets which is glorious. (mattk301)

There are nice Mitzubishi air conditioning units installed in every condo, but you must pay an "optional" daily fee of $15.00 if you want them turned-on during your stay. I recommend you pay for the air if you are visiting in the months of June and possibly into September, as the Tradewinds almost stop completely during that time. (michelep388)

Just stayed here for the third time consecutively (July 29-August 6, 2022). The staff informed us that there is no smoking on the property including in rooms or on balconies. You can step out to the beach or next door to the parking lot areas for the Sea Pines Beach Club but I was unable to find a "designated area" on the resort property. (mattk301)

It is true. Ocean breezes keep Capri by the Sea comfortable all year round. To verify, check out the weather forecast for the dates you will be staying. Yes, a lazy river for everyone and a kids area. The provide free passes for the maximum number of people that your room is allowed. The passes are good for each day that you are there. They sell tickets for about $30.00 a day to anyone else, so staying here can save a lot of money, just in this area. (lindaa712)

Just stayed here for the third time consecutively (July 29-August 6, 2022). Beach chairs are available for free for guests with no umbrellas. The ones on the beach with umbrellas are rentals from the lifeguards but reserve asap if you're in the busy season (June-August) as they go fast. Sea Pines Beach Club next door also has the orange chairs and umbrellas for rental and they are set up on the beach as well. (mattk301)
