We recently returned from The Point at Poipu after a great time with our son's family . The grand kids loved the pool, it was made for the kids. So nice to have laundry in the unit. We liked our partial ocean view better than our son's room that had a full ocean view, sun rise was awesome.

It is an awesome place to stay. My wife and I have been staying there every year since 2000. Management and staff are some of the best anywhere. They will do anything they can to ensure you and your family have a wonderful vacation.

The Point at Poipu has one of the best locations in Kauai. The Oceanfront units not only overlook the sights and sounds of the ocean, but provide a perfect view of the sunrise. Ocean view and garden views are also nice due to the beautiful landscaping. Because the resort is on a point, viewing the sunset is just a short walk away. Hilton Garden vacations bought the resort a couple of years ago so is now completely remodeling every unit with new kitchens, baths, floors, beds and furniture. So far, only a few buildings are completed so there is some ongoing construction but we weren’t bothered much by any noise. After owning at the Point for 20 years, this past year, we were lucky enough to be in a remodeled unit and it was gorgeous! The resort is also next to the Hyatt hotel which is a lovely place to eat and enjoy walking to lovely Shipwreck beach and a spectacular hike along a golf course adjoining the Hyatt. The pool area is nice, with a sandy area leading into it, like a real beach. The only restaurant is the pool side grill but they have breakfast and great sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc.

We absolutely love The Point at Poipu! Its prime location in sunny Poipu puts you close to great restaurants, shopping, and some of the island’s best beaches. The property itself is stunning—right on the oceanfront with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.

One of our favorite features is the zero-entry family pool and the poolside bar, which are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The spacious layout, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus the convenience of a full kitchen and in-unit washer and dryer, makes it feel like a true home away from home. It’s ideal for families looking to relax in comfort while enjoying all that Kauai has to offer.

Quiet and laid-back with magnificant ocean views. Don't miss the sea turtles coming ashore at dusk! Free shuttle service starting in the late afternoon is a great way to get around to the local shops & restaurants.

Great accommodations, great staff and great value. A supreme location. The pool is beautiful. You can walk out to the beach. Been going here for years.

Been going for 25 years Love this place you have morning sunrise and evening sunsets. Watching the turtles play in the waves on the benches. Its paradise.

Greatest resort and the best location! Beautiful pool, hot tubs, great snack bar, right on the ocean! I love this place. We come back every other year!

A true destination resort on a beautiful island that is a joy to explore and experience time and time again. Spacious rooms with nice grounds to walk anytime of the day. With the Ocean at the back door, take time for a late afternoon walk and watch Sea Turtles swimming feet from shore.

This resort is on the island of Kauai. The resort is right on coast overlooking ocean. The island offers beautiful scenery, great food and many areas to explore.

Great views. Lovely swimming pool. Close to surfing and swimming beaches, and many eating establishments.

Loved the dramatic location on the point in Kauai. The ocean view was beautiful. We had a great time using the pool area and traveling all over the island.

We have been owners here for about 30 years. We have used our points for exchanges, but come back to The Point 80% of the time .

Now that we are retired we come 2 or more times a year!
