Do you need a car to get to a grocery store? Are there any offsite family friendly restaurants that are walking distance?

There are a few offsite restaurants and a convenient store within walking distance, grocery store is only about a mile away but you would have to walk over a busy big bridge.

Publix grocery store not far or you can have groceries delivered. We did not rent a care
