We had an outstanding experience at Marriott's Summit Watch. There were 4 adults in our traveling party, and we had more than enough space in our large 2-bedroom condo. We spent every day on the slopes. We spent some nights out on the town, and other nights made dinner in the well-stocked kitchen.
The location of this resort is really what makes it stand out -- Every morning we were among the first people on the slopes, as it was an easy 30-second stroll to the Town lift directly out our door. Every evening it was an easy walk to all the dining and activities downtown Park City has to offer.
The resort and the condo itself were also top notch. The furnishings were extremely comfortable and in excellent condition. I especially loved the cozy, large window seats in the living room where I could curl up by the fireplace and stare out the windows. Speaking of the windows, we had a wonderful view of the slopes and town from the large windows in our living room. The hot tubs and heated pool at the resort were a nice treat after each day of skiing.
The staff were friendly and helpful. For instance, one night we made chili but needed an additional large pot (we made A LOT of chili) -- a quick call to the front desk, and ten minutes later we had an oversized crock pot delivered to our door.
Some nice perks to staying at this resort:
-Free ski valet (no need to lug skis/snowboards back to the condo -- just check them for free at the bottom of the Town lift)
-Essentially ski-in/ski-out convenience
-Several nice events organized by the resort staff throughout the week (free beer tasting with locally brewed beers, wine tasting, etc)
-Free heated, underground parking
Overall we had an incredible time during our stay at Summit Watch in Park City, and can't wait to return. I find it amazing that the resort charges well over $1,000 a night during prime ski season for these units, but Park City is amazing and the resort location can't be beat so I guess some folks are willing to pay a premium for that luxury and convenience.
